Q: How well has the vac sealer held up over time? Looking for 50 bag/ week sealer that will last

It’s the best I’ve had, better than food saver and their bags work great with it. I use it nearly every day.

Q: Directions in box say to wait 2 minutes between sealing bags. Is this just out of an extreme abundance of caution, or is it fully necessary?

As you stated this is due to extreme abundance of caution which is required by the testing requirements. I use one to pack of meat and fish and I will pack off 25 - 40 packs back to back with no issues. I like this model and the locking lid feature and found that I pack off the first bag lock it in and press start. Then while vac and sealing pack the next bag. Works perfect for me. Thanks
