Two Button, 5 pin, Lift Chair or Power Recliner Hand Control.

Q: i have a golden lift chair the cord on remote comes apart in side pocket. is this where the 5 pin contects ?

The pin in my chair connects at the bottom of the chair in the back at the motor near the floor. It's by the motor underneath. it does not connect at the motor electical source in mine. I thought that as well until I traced the cord. It was held to the chair with a staple at the pocket but not attached to the power box.

Q: Is the connector straight or 90 degrees; I read conflicting statements.

I think the reviews here are for more than one product. That is why some say 90 and others say straight[180]

Q: Will this work for a la z boy recliner? it has a 5 pin plug and only 2 buttons like this one.

It is not an exact fit for the lazy boy chair that I have.. the 5 pins are not spaced exactly the same and are slightly thicker.. with some tweaking and elbow grease you may probably get to fit/work.. but I was not able. I returned this remote as it is not exact fit for my lazyboy recliner.
