USB Data SYNC Cable for Sandisk Sansa Fuze 2GB 4GB 8GB

I misplaced the cord to my Sansa Fuze 8 GB video player a couple months back. I ordered this cable as a replacement recently and it appears to work just fine. The cable arrived quickly in a padded envelope and looks to be of possibly slightly lower quality than the initial cable, but appears good enough.The connectors seems to be slightly bigger maybe, because the cable was a little tight going into the device. It's nothing major though it went in just fine. I plugged it into my computer and the device was immediately recognized and began charging. I tested out by transferring a video using the Sansa software which worked just fine.If something goes wrong with I'll update my review here, but I really have no complaints with this cable. I'm contemplating buying a second one to travel with.--Update 01-12-14--I ended up purchasing two of these. Now one of them won't fully charge my Sansa any longer. The player gets stuck at certain percentages, doesn't think it's getting a charge, and stops until it's unplugged and pulgged back in. To be fair I should note that the one having this problem was the one that was in my travel bag and wound up, though not very tightly; the one that just sat on my desk is still working fine. Not horrible considering I got several years service out of the bad one.

I am on my second one of these cables. The original Sansa cable was lost by a member of my family. I bought one of these and it worked great. Then it was lost by a member of my family. I bought a second one of these and it works great. You can't beat the price so when this cable gets lost by a member of my family, you guessed it...I will buy a third one of these and it will work great.

I know exactly where my synch cable is, in Hostel Skend, in Sarayevo, connected to a USB port in their guests computer. More about that trip on my website: cosmic-pearl.com. By the time I got to Germany, the little MP3 was in the red and I discovered that I had lost my cable. I went to a couple of electronic superstores, Saturn, I think was one of them, and they wanted around $20 for the replacement. I knew I could do much better than that, and stubbornly waited until I got back home. This cable works perfectly fine. The only thing the original had was a raised white label on one side, the side that was always on top, when plugged-in, and a non-slick finish - my preference. So rather than to get it wrong, at least half of the time, the visual and tactile indicator was a helpful little thing to have to get the connector in there, correctly, the first time around. I have a leather sleeve for my little sandisk player (both, purchased here at amazon, btw) and this connector works just about as well as the original.

I had lost my charger years ago. I'm so glad my MP3 player is operational again. Good quality... it's charging well

Just like the other reviews have stated this item does not transfer data. I just use my phone to put the songs on the SD card for my sansa fuse. Dont waist your money try to find the original.Edit: After checking this item out it indeed does transfer data, so I am changing my review because it works perfect. I have no idea what I was doing wrong but like I stated it now works perfect. Thank you for a great product and great price.

Works great, even late! Unfortunately, my iPod still won't synch to my car, despite the cord upgrade. I probably need a new iPod . . . or a smart phone (I still have a slide-one.)

The cable end which goes into the end of the player did not fit. I'm sure it was just the difference in the units. Still cannot find a replacement cable.,\

I've had my MP3 player for years and lost the power cord to it. I'm so glad I found it on amazon and can listen to my music again!

It took little longer to receive the item but it is cheaper and good quality.

The cable arrived in a timely fashion. An email was sent to inform me that it had been shipped. However the cable itself was cheaply produced yet it fits the MP3 player better than than the OEM cable.
