They work!
100% worth the money. We had a swarm of fruit flies we just couldn’t get rid of. I would kill them all, clean up, take out the bins, but still by the next day there would be more. It was driving me insane. When I bought these initially the flies just sat on the bottle and yellow funnel. This was disappointing. To resolve this I gave the bottle a wipe and remove the yellow funnel so that I could wash the bait off it. The flies took note straight away and I saw results within a few hours. 48 hours later almost all of the fruit flies were dead and a couple of weeks later there has been no reoccurrence. These things are definitely worth the money but they could do with being redesigned so they aren’t shipped with the funnel in place.

Clean, safe, and fast—Super Ninja traps fruit flies with eco bait and no harsh chemicals.
🪰 Super Ninja Fruit Fly Killer – Full Review This trap is designed to target fruit flies indoors, especially around kitchen counters, bins, and fruit bowls. Each bottle uses a natural liquid bait that mimics the scent of decaying fruit—drawing flies in fast. Once inside, they’re trapped and can’t escape. The formula is non-toxic, child- and pet-safe, and each bottle lasts up to 3 weeks. The design is eco-conscious, made from recyclable plastic and free from harsh chemicals. It’s ready to use out of the box—just remove the seal and place it where flies gather. You’ll start seeing results in under 24 hours, and it’s a solid alternative to sprays or sticky strips. ✅ Pros Fast-acting—visible results within 24 hours Natural bait—no harsh smells or synthetic chemicals Safe for pets and kids—non-toxic formula Up to 3 weeks per bottle—low maintenance Recyclable plastic—eco-friendly design Compact and discreet—easy to place around the home Affordable—typically around £11.99 for 2 traps ❌ Cons Only targets fruit flies—not effective for gnats or drain flies No refill option—single-use bottles Works best near active fly zones—placement matters Mild scent—may not lure flies from far distances 🧠 Personal Verdict This trap’s a proper performer for kitchen fly control. I’ve seen it used near fruit bowls, compost bins, and food prep areas, and it holds up—quiet, clean, and no faff. The natural bait is a win for safety, and the 3-week lifespan makes it a low-hassle solution. For under £12, it’s a smart grab for anyone who wants effective fly control without the chemical cloud.

Actually works but could last longer
First product I’ve had that effectively attracts and traps the pesky fruit flies that we seem to suffer from all the time. I watched in fascination as they flocked to it. It’s small and neat in size so isn’t overly noticeable in the kitchen. Whilst it’s good initially, I think they say it lasts 2-3 weeks, and I did find it lost effectiveness after 2. If it could either last a bit longer or be a bit cheaper to begin with, that would be better as it would cost a lot of money to replace every 2 weeks! That said, I have just ordered my next pack as they do indeed seem to be the only thing that works.

Works amazingly
Have bought this twice for very bad fruit fly infestations. Both times overnight they were all gone. Works amazing. Better than tape and spray as there is less cleanup after as they are all just in the jar. Looks tidy too. Worth the money as works better than homemade traps.

They work!
I previously made my own trap which did indeed work! However it stank of vinegar and the smell was noticeable everywhere. I got these to save the time and smell but was dubious at first however these work absolutely great, many dead fruit flies, no odour and tiny little jars! If you have a fruit fly problem these do work! The review ideas section prompts me to review the noise level...so I guess unless you throw them at a wall or drop them they are silent, apart from maybe the tiny screams of dying fruit flies *insert evil villain laughter here* Recommended!

Mediocre and overpriced
It works, but there are several drawbacks. 1) It only works on fruitflies, so you will still have to buy something else to deal with other species such as gnats. 2) At £3.50 per bottle, you can get a pack of flypapers for just a bit more which work with ALL flies. Not to mention you can make your own trap with just some apple cider vinegar and clingfilm. 3) You have to remove everything else which might attract fruitflies in order for this to work. Overall this just isn't worth money and you are far better off buying regular sticky flypapers. If you don't mind spending more money there are plug in wall devices which attract flies with blue light, these being far more effective. EDIT: The vendor has generously offered me (and given) a full refund. However, my criticisms still stand.

Does what it says and last for a while, but works out a little expensive for us
We have been suffering with a massive fruit fly invasion in our kitchen and then they started invading our living room. Tried everything to get rid of them, but nothing was working. I knew I wanted something natural and without chemicals, as they affect both of us with our breathing otherwise. When searching came across this particular brand and liked the idea of being able to purchase multiple bottles for maximum impact. We opted for set of 6. They Arrived the same day as which was a relief as at that point I was beside myself with these tiny flying creatures, all over my work tops etc. We initially didnt' think these were working as had placed 1 by the kitchen sink and they weren't going near it but gathering by my kitchen sink. We couldn't see any action on the bottle. But! the following day we had added another bottle to our kitchen and we then started to see flys gathering on 1 of the bottles and by evening we could see some had gotten in and so on and it keeps working now and we have had lots of them now inside both bottles. The smell isn't too bad either, just vinegar and doesn't make the room smell. The bottles themselves are unobtrusive and small, so don't take up a lot of space, which is handy. Build quality is robust plastic and they do catch the flys. We were at the end of our tether with these things flying and crawling all over our kitchen, including inside our cupboards and bins etc, we are very pleased to have given this product a try and will recommend to others. Tip: do make sure you follow the advice to wipe the inside of the rim, once the lid is removed, as it will help the flys to get inside and not trapped on the sticky solution before getting inside the bottle. They do work! Only downside is the cost of these, as we had to use them right un until November and it will work out quite costly having to do this from early March right through, as they are stubborn creatures and come inside early in the year until very late.
