Waste of money
This wire does nothing

Worked as expected
Might be a strange one, but I have a tire pressure sensor reprogramming unit that I had lost the cable to. We thought it used a newer USB connector, but it did not. I thought the port looked similar to camera data cable, so we ordered this up and tried it out. Worked great! When it comes to digital, the 1s and 0s either get there or they don't; unless you know you're going to put a lot of extra stress on it (plugging and unplugging constantly, winding and unwinding all the time) you don't really need an over-engineered cable, just the right one. This one is perfect. Came in a zip-closure bag that I'm keeping it in, and wrote on it in sharpie what the cable is for so we won't throw this one out. Problem solved!

Works like a charm
I have a very old canon powershot a2300 that I could not find the cable for to transfer photos and was lucky to find this one. The chord was very long and I experienced no difficulties using it.
