So you replaced your huge marshall/vox halfstack or or twin with a UAFX modeler. Now you are on a hunt for good STEREO effects for the left side of the thing. UAFX wants you consider their options. Their compelling argument is they've perfectly modeled the classic effects from your youth. But they did something more. They include two of each of them, and allow them to be independent to make things stereo that weren't. And they NAILED the effects. It's like having a 19" rack with the originals. You can hear the tube warmth. While I understand the folks complaining because "why make something purpose specific? That hardware could do everything. It could be a bunch of amps". Workflow. UAFX is considering live performance, and workflow. If I want to make a new sound, or switch to a different mod, it's instant. I don't have to menu dive, or have some setup prepared and saved. Knob per function is a glorious luxury. It's why people still pay 3 grand for sequential synthesizers. From my perspective, it means I have Ruby > Astra > Del-Verb > Soundboard happening, and it works perfectly. I have my reverb, chorus, delay, and flanger all ready. I even have a phaser ready thanks to them giving you some extra effects after registering. I finally have a phaser better than my favorite Deep Phase, but in stereo. I have pedals with more modulation effects in a smaller package, but none of them sound this good, and they aren't stereo. I have purpose specific pedals at least as good as the Astra, but they are bigger. Strymon comes to mind. I hate to admit it, but the decider in the end was how good they look next to each other on my board, and how easy it is to find great tones. I knew I'd go back and forth for months so I just gave in. And I couldn't be happier. Anybody need some strymon gear?

Very frustrating product, overall gain issues, bluetooth no longer working and hours and hours of wasted troubleshooting. Not satisfied 😕
