My 6-year-old grandson LOVES to draw and tell stories...this is the perfect gift!

I bought these for my great niece and nephews -- aged 9-13. They made wonderful gifts. I was very pleased with the layout and even kept one for myself. I write novels and non-fiction instructional books, but I have been tempted to write a story in comic format now that I have this book. But I can see it being useful for people who like to journal as well. The layout is inviting for jotting down condensed versions of personal thoughts in the individual windows when the writer doesn't have a lot of time to spend on that kind of activity. It would also be great for planning out plots for novels.

I don't see any problems with this comic book. It looks fairly clean and pretty neat! However I would prefer more panel designs instead of the same one for every page, so thats why i'm taking a star. Great buy for artists!

Bought a few little things for my kiddos to give as Valentine's gifts this year due to feeling a bit bad about covid making it a lousy year of missing school parties while remote. They have both (male 11 yrs, female 8 years) been really into reading a lot of comics lately and were making their own stories together and drawing pics so they were super excited to get these books. Each page seems to be the same lay out, but they make it work and i showed them how they can split the premade squares and add in things to make it work as they needed. They really love it and I am glad that it made a nice gift as well as keeps them off screens and gives them something to do together and be creative and silly. 10/10 recommend.

My oldest LOVES to write his own comics. This has been an absolute god send! No more folding paper into little books or giving in to his constant “need” for new journals that only get minimal use. It’s already there. Preset up. Ready to go. This was one of his favorite gifts this year (besides the wearable blanket; also worth getting) Great price. Great quality. And a fabulous way to get kids into reading and drawing. I will be buying more!!!

I ordered this as a gift. It’s perfect. The only thing I can see being a problem is that the paper is thin so you definitely have to use pencils. The only complaint I have is that it was shoved into my mailbox and bent by the mailman! Not sure why it wasn’t dropped at the door. Luckily I got to it early enough it didn’t do too much damage.

I am not much of a cartoon producer but I thought these books would be perfect for doing my zentangle doodling which relies on patterns inside of squares or rectangles- and they are perfect for this purpose- would purchase these again for myself and as gifts for artists in my life.
