Very good book

OK, it may not be the most updated according to the syllabus, but there's one thing you need to know - the PBA exam is all about the rationale, and how much you understand the concept. This explains why this book is so important to all the candidates, it explains the concepts clearly and views the whole thing in a full picture.

This book was very used, with lots of writing and highlighting. I also feel like some of the information is dated.

An Excellent Book

I think I may be one of the few people who bought this book upon its release, directly from the publisher. The book is great, and there is no doubt that It's a great reflection of PMI Study Guide "Business Analysis a practitioner's guide", defined in easy words and memorizing is easy unlike PMIs guide, which is drier in the sense and hard to absorb its contents. Questions in this book were easy and not like in real exam. I mostly scored above average but exam's difficulty was immense. I didn't pass the exam, but will try again, using the same book. There is no publisher in market who would combine PMBOK guide and BA guide one book. I expected that from this book, but the guide does not explain PMBOK related processes/material in details. Having a good grip over PMBOK for BA exam is necessary. This book, however, expects you to already know the PMBOK guide.

I passed PMP using the PMP version of this series and found it to be an excellent quality material. I purchased the PBA version and was disappointed. The PBA variant is not well written, it is too wordy, too superficial, lacks real-life application examples and tips..It is sufficient to pass the exam but this is not a book I would recommend to invest in.
