I installed this belt on a garden tractor and purchased this belt as compatible with the OEM part. It is much narrower (width) than the one on the tractor.Given that we have removed the mower deck and mechanism and use the tractor to pull utility trailers the narrow width may be acceptable. We shall see.Belt replacement on the tractor is a major pain in the neck and quite involved. I am hoping that this belt will give us another 10 years of service.

good replacement for craftsman 144200 part number. will buy again if holds up, used once to mow my grass.

Great price, it is a little tight as the blades continue to spin when disengaged.

this belt is too short, it is not a replacement for the 144200 that I needed for my Craftsman mower, I had to buy the correct one locally. Unfortunately, this belt got damaged when I started the mower with the blades disengaged, the belt spun the blades up and the belt guards rubbed the backside of the belt pretty bad, so returning was a no-go. Live and learn, I will buy my replacement belts locally from now on.

So far so good,havent cut the grass much yet.

Threw the belt after a couple hours use. Large chunks missing when it went. Got what I paid for.

This belt last exactly 2 minutes before fraying and starting to unravel. It's supposed to be a direct replacement for Craftsman part 144200 but it's certainly not a quality part. Stick to the kevlar belts. My last once lasted over a season and half mowing 2+ acres. I could not believe my eyes when this one started unraveling on my pulleys. Checked my system to be sure, replaced this belt with another kevlar belt I had laying around that was worn but not done and it had no issues. Save your money.
