Replaced my faulty one of these after 5 years did the trick very well once I got the old one out

Purchased complete item as it (at the time) was near impossible to find just the seal, that had shrunk and leaked.Not exactly useful when trying to wash and water is disappearing.Utilized seal and cast remainder to spares box for a tomorrow.

Thank goodness for standard sizes! This was an easy and direct replacement for the original parts. The plug top seems to be metallised plastic. So, I kept the original top which is chrome metal and in good condition and used just the brass part.

Reasonable quality at a good price.No option to choose the valve body size. I got the short pattern ones but needed the long ones. Luckily I was able to dismantle the old ones and fit them with the new caps.

In the one I was replacing the rubber washer was larger and fitted inside the pipe to create a seal. This one relied on a flimsy plastic washer which did not seal the water. However my request to return did get an immediate refund.

Easy to find, deliver and install

This does not match the size stayed meaning that the item screws in but when realising the item is not right length to stop water going down plug hole you unscrew and the top comes off meaning the main part of the item is still left inside plug here lies the problem small pliers to try and remove anti clock wise and very difficult to take out . Don’t waste your time or money

The item arrived very quickly and took me 30 seconds to fit. It worked perfectly and has stopped water emptying whilst I’m shaving!Would certainly buy again and would recommend this product
