Secrid – Mini Wallet, Black (Black) – MV-black

This is a hyper-longterm review for this wallet. My Amazon acc says I bought this in 2015 and it's been my daily carry to this day, so roughly 9 years. As you can see in my pictures it's battle-scarred accordingly. What I liked: - Durability - Compact, but not too light - Capacity and organization Dislikes: - Cash fold part doesn't hold too much I bought this when I moved from the traditional multi-fold wallets to something a bit more minimal since things were becoming more digital. However I favored this option because it left me some leeway for when I needed to carry additional bills and/or other ancillary cards. Currently it houses: 5x Flat cards, 1x Embossed in the Card-Slide mechanism 1x Embossed, 2x Laminated (healthcare/library cards) in the center card pocket 1x Laminated, 2x paper, and 1x embossed in the outer card pocket. The durability is there, it's survived many falls and the leather has held up well over the years. It gets marked, but it's only aesthetic and hasn't affect functionality (it lives in the pocket with my keys). Futhermore, the stitching for the inner pockets are holding up well considering how much I've stuffed into them. The card-slide has been loose for the past couple of years but I worked around it by stuffing more cards inside of it. I think this was only rated for about 4 embossed cards when I bought it which was good enough for the time, and even better now that banks are starting to issue non-embossed as standard. The amount of cards I put inside the mechanism hasn't affected how smoothly it pushes out, but I do have to be careful when I take one out to pay as the others get loose and can slip out on their own. I've almost lost a few cards this way. I liked that it never gets larger than a credit card in the X-Y directions, so it fit in my pockets while allowing me to put other things in there. It also has some weight to it, which is good because I determine if my wallet is on me based on how heavy my pockets feel. This is the only wallet I've never lost. The organization is intuitive. I put my most used cards in the slide mechanism, and things I want to keep on me but never really pull out in the inner pockets. The cash fold is the weakest part and my only gripe. You pretty much have to put in a bill folded in half, and the wallet folds it again, so essentially it thickens by 4x in your pocket in addition to the cash-holder's plastic. I had trouble putting 2 bills into that and eventually just started folding the bills to a larger dimension and sandwiching them between the RFID metal and the outer pocket. It feels a little uneasy in case things just slip out, but it has worked for me. All in all I highly recommend this wallet. I'm in the market for a new one because I didn't want to gamble with the loose card slide any longer. I was strongly considering all the wallets you see advertised on social media these days, but they all felt like a downgrade from what this offered. Those competitor products do have accessories that could make up for it, but it still feels like a downgrade, having to fork over more for feature parity. I'm looking at the other offerings from Secrid and I think I'll stick with this battle-tested brand.

My husband loves this wallet! He said it’s very convenient to take the cards out and has good cash storage space. The leather feels good too.

I had trouble justifying the price of the wallet when the time came to replace mine, but I could not be happier with the choice. It is compact and the lever to get cards so smooth (sounds strange but you will understand if you buy this product). It also comes with a 3 year warranty, so that may help justify the price if the quality/craftsmanship is not enough. The only negative aspect of this wallet is that it does show scratches/scuffs. This is not a deterrent for me.. in fact, I think it accentuates the aged look of my brown wallet. If this aspect really bothers you, remember that it is leather and scratches/scuffs should come out easily with leather cleaner. *I have not tried this so I cannot confirm or deny the effectiveness.. simply speculation based on experience with other leather products* To surmise - this is a fantastic, unique wallet that is elegantly crafted. I would also like to thank the seller, Brandz 4 Less, for their excellent customer service. They did NOT give me this product for free or any sort of discount. I am simply recognizing that they went above and beyond to help me exchange the wallet (two different times) so that I could receive the perfect product.

Beautiful wallet, very clean and slick! Love the feature where the cards shoot up in a fashionable order with a click of a button instead of having to open your whole wallet! Unfortunately, to small for my partners cash and cards to all fit in. Would recommend though!

Best wallet I have ever owned. If you want small/compact then this is the one. And it actually holds more than you think. It certainnly held more than my previous wallet which was a bit larger, plus this has the RFID protection. I purchased it for the RFID protection and the size, but then discovered the terrific feature which allows you to eject some fo the most used cards (this is where the protected cards go, btw). They are still held firmly in the ejected position (you can hold onto the cards and the wallet will not fall to the floor). Having this feature allows you to access those cards without opening up the wallet. I purchased mine with the help of a gift card I was given. That paid for part of it. But now that I have it in-hand, have seen it, have used it, I will not hesitate to buy another if it is ever required. IMO, it is worth the price, because it is everything *I* want in a wallet.

I love great design, functionality and simplicity. It’s only been a week, but so far the Secrid mini wallet checks all these boxes. Aside from its utility and seemingly strong build, this is a wallet you feel compelled to use. It’s just nice to handle and manipulate. Can’t stop messing around with it. If you’re a true minimalist, probably not the wallet for you, what with the ejection mechanism. But I love it.

先日、この商品を買いました。 下にあるボタン（？）をスライドさせることで、カード入れ専用ケースからカードが飛び出してくる。 最大5枚まで収納可能で3枚だけ入れても飛び出すことも可能。 ※一枚だけ入れてもちゃんと飛び出る 財布を開けると中にお札を入れることも可能で、最大何枚入るかは分かりません。 小銭入れはないので、現金払いのみの人は苦労すると思う。 個人的な使い方は、ペイペイや楽天ペイのようなキャッシュレス払いをして、現金払いのみのところでお札を使うのが吉 お釣りで来る小銭に関しては考えてはいけない。ロマンを忘れたら人生が豊かにならない 財布を開けると中にカード入れもあるので、そこに入れたら最大7枚まで収納可能。 財布もかなり小さく、掌に納まる程度。 持ち運びがかなり楽になっており、カードケースとかを持つ人はこれを使えば幸せになれる（かもしれない） 折り畳み財布なので、お札を折るのが嫌な人は注意。 買って良かったと思える一品なので、気になる人は買ってみることをお薦めします。

Hoy os voy a contar cómo es este tarjetero que acabo de recibir. Como me ha gustado, me he animado a escribir esta opinión. Espero que os sea de utilidad. 1.-EL CONTENIDO DE LA CAJA Dentro de la caja viene lo siguiente: --El tarjetero. --Instrucciones en inglés. 2.-EL TARJETERO Este tarjetero destaca por lo pequeño que es y por permitirnos almacenar un gran número de tarjetas, además de billetes en un pequeño espacio. En el vídeo lo podéis ver con más detalle, pero mide aproximadamente 9x6 cm. Entrando en tan poco espacio al menos 5 ó 6 tarjetas en el espacio protegido para tarjetas RIFD, dependiendo de que las tarjetas tenga o no letras en relieve. La verdad que este compartimento es muy útil, ya que nos permite extraer las tarjetas sin tener que abrir la cartera, por lo que es recomendable poner en él las que usemos más frecuentemente. En los otros dos compartimentos podemos meter de 2 a 4 tarjetas más, pero si metemos tantas, luego nos costará cerrar la cartera, por lo que es mejor meter una o dos o alguna tarjeta de visita. De todas formas, en el vídeo podéis ver con más detalle cómo funciona. 3.-CONCLUSIONES Después de estar usando este dispositivo durante unos días, extraigo las siguientes conclusiones: --El artículo está bien acabado, es bonito y tiene una buena calidad. El precio de 45 euros, que es lo que me ha costado, me parece correcto para la calidad del producto. --Es un artículo útil para llevar en poco espacio las tarjetas y los billetes. --Funciona bien y no le he encontrado ningún fallo. --Por ponerle alguna pega, no me gusta que la estructura de aluminio esté pegada al plástico portabilletes. Me imagino que cuando se rompa, lo hará por ahí. --Ya veremos lo que dura el plástico que sujeta los billetes, me imagino que es una de las partes que puede romperse con el tiempo. --Si metes muchos billetes dificulta cerrar la cartera. --Las instrucciones no están en castellano, aunque es sencillo su uso, podrían haberlo incluido. --En unos pocos días lo tienes en casa y con la garantía que da Amazon.
