For the price, works pretty good
I'm not an expert on web cams, and haven't really found one yet that I love. My first one works OK, but not well in low light, so I bought this Anker Brand C200 2K one that looks pretty cool. My friends suggested a gamer web cam, but I passed on that notion, cause I'm not really that into webcams. I use them for online meetings with customers, and that's it.Setup on my new Mac Mini M2 Pro was pretty easy, I think I just plugged it in and it worked. Tried in with the Apple Photo Booth App and it looked pretty good; much better than the one at the office, and the more light the better it worked. Then I switched camera sources and used my iPhone 12, and that shocked me, in how clear the picture was (Looked like 4K, but I don't have 4K glass). So now I'm thinking or playing with the notion of getting the 4K version of this camera. I don't think it was that much more than what I paid for this camera. This C200 starts to fail in auto focus, and the image gets a little blurry or artifacts when the light gets lower, and comes back to life when you pump up the light sources again. For the price, if you can find a good price ($50 USD), the camera or Anker C200 is a bargain and will get the job done, presenting your image with clarity and speed. The red shutter is pretty cool, turns off the camera and blocks the lens, so you don't see a red video image. It feels like it's built tough and durable, perhaps take a few drops on concrete. The build quality is really nice, it's not cheap feeling, and it fits the top of my monitor (Dell U2722D) and doesn't move on me, or fall off.Not sure if I'm keeping it yet. I can get another C200 and have 2 webcams, one for each computer at home (Mac/Windows), or try the 4K version that has "AI", and see what that looks like, with the drawback of the "AI" software perhaps making things more complicated than I want, which is why I didn't buy the gamer webcam. I'm probably leaning towards buying one more C200 for my PC and call it finished. The image quality is good enough for me not to be ashamed of in meetings, and is still a huge step up from other webcams. I have nothing bad to say about the Anker C200 webcam.

amazing quality and usable AS-IS! (plug n play)
i needed a cheap webcam just for casual hang-outs in discord with friends. I looked through so many reviews (both on amazon and youtube) to get a gist of what to expect from the device. After looking through so many reviews, i was under the impression that one NEEDED to adjust the settings with the anker software to get decent use out of it. But that is not the case!Although the software IS useful for taking control of certain settings, I only ended up adjusting 2 settings. I lessened the viewing angle to 78 degrees, and i raised the saturation by 2 points. That is IT. Very minor adjustments. The camera works really well right out of the box!Don't get me wrong, I would still recommend everyone get the software. It took just a few seconds to install, and there's a lot of video, image, and sound settings to adjust to give the user full control of how they want the video to look. (There are resolution settings, anti-flicker settings, brightness, sharpness, contrast, focus settings, etc.)btw, my desk has a shelf above the monitor area, so i don't actually have any space to attach a webcam on top of the monitor. I ended up placing the webcam on top of the shelf, angled downwards a bit, and that worked just fine!I'm happy with it!

Fantastic camera for video calls!
Using this camera for zoom calls only. My Razr Kio burned out and I was looking for something else. I noticed this had noise cancelation and an adjustable viewing angle. I’m sure there are slightly better setups than this all in one unit but the image is so much more crisp than my previous webcam and the audio quality is not just better but the noise cancelation really works well. My son was sitting 10 feet away, clapping and talking and the microphone canceled it all out. I also use a green screen as I don’t want to expose my personal home to all of my clients. My old camera left a green halo regardless of my lighting setup and the edges were always fuzzy. This thing works perfect, no green halo and edges are crisp. If you are looking to be a high level content creator I’m sure this won’t be the device for you. If you are looking for well above average zoom/teams calls then this device is perfect!

Great camera and mic quality, but I'm worried about the camera blocker slider
The camera image quality and microphone is great and better than what my laptop has. The auto focusing was accurate, quick, and could focus on everything that I tested. I was especially happy that I could display things up close to the camera and that the camera would focus on it clearly.Set up was very easy, I just had to plug it into my laptop. I saw that there is a special software that I can use to customize the camera more, but out the box things seemed perfect for my usage. I will still take a look at what the software offers since it seems like firmware updates come from there. You can easily cover the camera by sliding a bar on the top of the camera to the left, which is always a nice feature to have. However, one thing I am concerned about is that the slider cover for the camera seems to electrically disable the camera rather than simply block the lens. My laptop has a similar switch that disables the connection to the camera, but the switch became loose which led to the camera rapidly and randomly connecting and disconnecting multiple times. That issue with my laptop led me to buy this camera, and I hope that a similar issue does not happen in the future with this camera through the slider breaking.I was a little worried about the grip of the camera hanging from my laptop, but after putting it on and shaking my laptop screen a bit, I found that it was pretty stable and didn't move. One last thing, the packaging is very nice! It was fun to unbox.
