Well worth it.
So at the same time I got these a friend got me Harry's to try. Both give a really nice close shave. I shave the sides of my head and parts of my face. (I have an undercut) But interestingly the BIC lasted longer. I'd been swapping which blade I used each time to see which lasted longer. My first shave was with the BIC. My last and most recent shave with the BIC was normal. Nice and smooth. No irritation (mind I do have to give my scalp extra time due to it being SENSITIVE WAH) but I'm able to go over one spot more than once without it having a fit. My face has zero issues with it. The last with the Harry's, which means one less shave ago, was a disaster of stubble. What's more, the refills for this are vastly cheaper. The handle feels nice in the hand. I wish it had a bit more heft, like the Harry's does, but it's not a deal breaker. So yeah. BIC once again surprises me with their quality versus price point.

A Great Smooth Shave!
These are the best razors cartridges. We used to use the non cartridge version, but now we use these and just as good. And a better deal economically and less plastic waste. The 5 blades really make a difference.

My Go-To Shave, Every Time
I’ve been using BIC Flex 5 refillable blades for a while now and keep coming back for more. Excellent shave quality, long-lasting blades, and great value. Consistently my favorite personal razor—no fuss, just smooth results.

Damn good razor
What Works — Why I Like Them • Smooth, close shave: The 5-blade system glides nicely over my skin, and I almost always get a “clean” shave with minimal stubble left. The shave feels thorough without me needing to go over the same area multiple times. Users commonly praise that it leaves skin feeling smooth, often comparing the finish to “a fresh barbershop cut.” • Good balance and ergonomics: The handle is comfortable and manageable — not bulky, not too light. The shape gives you decent control, which helps especially around tricky zones like under the nose or along the jawline. • Glide & comfort (less irritation): There’s a lubricating strip (often reported to be enriched with aloe/Vitamin E) that helps the razor glide smoothly. On my skin (and many other reviewers’ skin), this tends to mean fewer nicks, less irritation — even on sensitive skin if you shave carefully. • Decent blade lifespan & value for money: For a “normal guy doing a regular shave,” each blade cartridge lasts multiple shaves (some users get 10–13 shaves per cartridge, depending on frequency and hair thickness). That longevity — combined with what seems like a modest price — makes the razor a solid everyday value pick. • Versatility for face (and sometimes head/body): In my use, it handles everything from daily face stubble to heavier facial hair pretty well. Some other users even find it useful for head shaving or body hair, which speaks to its flexibility. So for routine shaving — mornings before work, or when you need a quick, smooth shave — I find this razor reliable, easy to use, and comfortable on the skin. ⸻ ⚠️ Where It’s Not Always Perfect / What to Watch Out For • Less effective for very dense or coarse hair: On days when my beard is a few days’ worth of growth, or when facial hair is thick/stiff, I sometimes felt the razor struggled a bit — requiring more passes or extra pressure. That undermines some of the comfort and increases the chance of irritation. Others have reported similar drawbacks. • Irritation risk if shaving aggressively or frequently: While the lubricating strip helps, some people with sensitive skin (or those shaving daily) still report occasional razor-burn or razor-rash, especially on the neck or around tricky areas. • Blade performance inconsistent for everyone: Not everyone gets the “many-shaves per cartridge” as some reviewers do. A few folks say that over time — especially with frequent shaving — the blades dull quicker than they’d like, reducing shave quality. • Handle & shave-head may feel bulky for detailed trimming: If you’re trying to sculpt sideburns or trim under your nose carefully, the pivoting head + multi-blade design can feel a little unwieldy compared to a single-blade razor or precision trimmer. Some reviewers mentioned that maneuvering around tricky spots took patience. In short: it’s excellent for a simple, everyday shave — but maybe not ideal if you need super precise styling or have very coarse/stubborn facial hair. ⸻ 💡 My Verdict — Who It’s Best For If you’re: • shaving 2–4 times per week (typical face stubble maintenance), • want a quick, easy, reasonably-priced shave with minimal fuss, • value comfort and minimal irritation over ultra-luxury shave, • and don’t require razor-sharp precision trimming — then the BIC Flex 5 is a solid everyday razor. However, if you have very thick hair, want very clean, long-lasting close shaves, or care a lot about contour precision, you may eventually want to upgrade to a higher-end cartridge razor or even explore a safety-razor setup (though that comes with extra care and maintenance).

The best blades I have ever used !!
I love these blades for a great comfortable shave, and they last for many shaves. I have been shaving for 75 years and have always hated it. I have tried electric shavers and many other brand of blades with the same result - I hated to shave. That is, until I decided to try these Bic blades on a free trial. I simply do not hate shaving anymore. They shave smoothly, closely and do not mess up my skin. Another plus is the fact that they are very reasonably priced. I am definitely sticking with their use !!

High Quality Shave
Many women choose men's razors for there quality. The prices are much better than the womens razor that do not shave half as good. I'd said try it yourself you'll never go back.
