The product has absolutely no smell -- completely scentless as far as I can tell. The product has an oiliness, and quickly dries, first becoming a bit tacky before drying completely. It's not advertised as being a moisturizer, nor would I trust it as such. I apply an under-eye cream afterwards (Brickell brand, but frankly any good brand would work). I have a small number of skincare products that I'll always use, and this is one of them. It worked right away. The price is right. Even if you're on the fence, since the price is so low, I'd try it out to see if it'll work for you.
