Stuart Cam HD WiFi Camera Despicable Me

This is my third TEND camera, but my first Stuart Cam. I replaced all the outdoor Arlo cameras at my house with Tend, when I got frustrated with Arlo burning through batteries and couldn't see spending the cost of an Arlo camera again on the cost of their new solar chargers. So I bought two of the standard TEND cameras, both installed in windows pointing out. Insanely pleased with both, but opted for this less expensive Stuart Cam when I wanted an option for a window overlooking the backyard (to watch wildlife).For some reason I had it in my head that the Stuart was small - like maybe the size of a cigarette lighter. Nope, was surprised and pleased when it arrived and I discovered it was more like the size of a deck of cards. Setup is absolutely the STRONG POINT for these cameras - they set up in moments. I have had other cameras that are just a colossal pain in the butt to install - the TENDS are a complete cinch. Added it to my existing app easily.The base on the Stuart Cam is more "user friendly" than on the standard cams, which frankly is their one weakness - the base on those is a pain to install, just poor design. On the Stuart, its a different story - easy to install. I also have to say the rotating post this camera is mounted on is better by miles than I've seen on even much more expensive cameras- it adjusts easily and then HOLDS its position.I'll be going back for another one of these - I'm that impressed. Plus it makes me smile when I walk in the back door and see Stuart there grinning at me!One note: I do hope TEND will develop their app more over time. It has the basics and that's fine, but I'd like to see them add some pluses like geo-caching for the notifications, and some better options on the sensitivity settings. At low, for instance, the camera pointing to the porch will miss someone stepping up onto the porch. At medium sensitivity, it catches the person on the porch, but also records a clip of EVERY car that goes down the street.

This was my second minion. I have another to spy on my little dog inside the home and it is a fantastic little guy. This one I set up to spy on him in the backyard. I have other tend products in the windows throughout the home and love all of them. People have actually asked me about them before and about my little minion.Like the fact that you can do a highlight real of your pet (if mine ever stayed in the shot long enough). But I have downloaded the cutest shot of my poor little guy the first days of having him doing the cutest howly thing in the world that has never been reproduced. On a regular tend camera I was able to get him falling backward howling. Without the tend cameras monitoring him, I would have never gotten them.The minions monitor the high traffic area of the dog kitchen window outward toward the backyard, and the kitchen itself.With that said sunlight is not an issue even though I am an East-west home with it being in the window (unlike the other regular Tend camera on the west during sunset for about 2 hours thought still able to see things). The camera facing toward the yard is mainly there to just catch the cuteness of the dog. (If it so happens that someone hops my fence but it is only for my dog).The original minion was actually bought prior to the dog for indoor security and was my very first camera bought. The night vision works great on the little guy. I love minion speak dog not so much. But, I am able to talk to my dog straight through the thing which is nice and he looks directly over at it a bonus, only until he realizes it's not me and walks away.These are good cameras. I have had the pleasure of getting to see a few brands in action and went with these for my needs. And have been very happy with my decision.

I like this product, I could hear everything that was going on. I have rudest, nasty, lazy, and thieving neighbors. They have done horrible things to my property, even when they thought no one is watching.They cut my plants, ripped my grass, stolen my marble rocks, threw liquor bottles, throw broken glass, threw sticks, leaves, dead grass in my front and backyard, they damaged my home, threw snow on the sidewalk, after I already cleaned it. They jump over my fence, and trespassed on my property. They also parked on top of the sidewalk, blocking my front steps of my house, and blocking people from passing by on the sidewalk. I could never park front of my house. I had to call the cops. With this camera I have several proofs for they have damaged my property, and harassed my whole family.The mother, and the daughter are the worst liars. The husband doesn't know how to control his family, and he's a thief like his sons, they litter. I even have proof my neighbor drove away, after I called the cops. My crazy neighbor got scared, and drove away with her kids. The cops mentioned to us the woman has mental problems. It's seem they already know her issues. Even though she has mental problems, she has no right to act the way throwing things at us. She needs help.I bought several cameras in different angles of my window. It's more clear, when you don't have the screen in front of the camera, and on the first floor windows as you can see in the pictures of my neighbors parking their car on top of the sidewalk. This camera saves everything, has motion alarms, two way communication speakers, and records audio for you as well.

I LOVE this camera! I’ve been using them for well over a year now. Super easy to set up! You can zoom in on the pictures. You can hear what’s going on in the room which is great because I have an elderly mother with people who are sometimes strangers that visit her. Because the camera looks like a toy people don’t realize it’s a camera. It sends a text message when there is movement in my garage and it is super sensitive. Beat thing? No monthly fees! I purchased a fairly expensive camera also but it takes way to long to pull up the stream and it goes off line often. Tend got this very right! I’ll be purchasing more of their products as my needs change.
