If you have bought one of the fans that have the general black remote (most newer fans), this is the perfect holder for you. I have purchased others that were more generic, however, the remove never fit right, since it was a universal remove holder.This one is exactly what you need if you have the remote imaged. It is easy to mount, and comes with two, which is great since most have multiple fan remotes to mount. I would also recommend mounting with the tape or Velcro rather than screwing it into the wall. The remotes are light and don't need that kind of mounting hardware.

If your remote is listed these wall holders will be a nice way to mount the remote so the puppy won't chew it up, and it will act as a sort of wall switch as well. BUT- the expanding plastic anchors are marginal at best. They might work in wood OK, but I would recommend that you do not use them in wallboard. Just don't.

Remotes fit nicely and no buttons are blocked. You will need to screw into the wall as the tape option is worthless. No instructions were included, but it's not that complicated. Overall, not bad, but not great.

Brought a new fan, and had to order this from Amazon. I guess things are really getting bad when I have to order something that should have been included with my purchase. Glad Amazon had it for sale. It fits the remote perfectly.

Great little holders for my fan remotes. I bought a second pair after the first (four total), to hold my four Decorators Collection fan remotes.I’m OCD loves that the remotes have a place to go and can be “put away”.
