Worked perfect. Easy to install. Now My dome light comes on when the doors open and goes off when the doors are closed as they should.

One worked as it should. Other works incorrectly

My interior lights functioned when I turned them on with the “wheel” by headlight switch. But not when my doors came open. 15 mins, two of these and a tiny screwdriver later; Now they do! Niceeee

My battery kept draining down if my car sat for a couple days. After a lot of searching, testing and pulling fuses I thought it could be a bad dome light switch, even though the dome light wasnt on when.doors closed. It was ! And this solved it.

I’ve heard people say they received broken parts and thought they might have did it or it was broken in shipping. But this product arrived missing the internal spring which I found out after one door closure. It went in without being forced and after the one closure it fell completely apart. I noticed one of the ears was broke on the assembly was broke off. I’m assuming this was a return which someone broke and sent back or broke in manufacturing and simply ran through. Because of that I have to give a one star rating.

This turned out to be what I needed, but I got lucky; be aware that there are two different switch lengths, and measure your old one.

I bought this item to fit in my Chevy Silverado 97 k1500. This replacement works and fits like the original one. I,m so pleased to recommend it.
