Quality Filter for years of Usage
I own a Celestron Astromaster 114 Telescope. It was a perfect fit and did protect my eyes for viewing the Solar Eclipse. The install was very simple. The directions were explain in such a way any child could attach the filter to their scope. It will be a very use full filter for years to come.

I brought this to a solar eclipse and made the local newspaper
I looked at the sun, it was cool. It works well and it's nice having the safety straps to protect the optics of your telescope and your face

Loose Fitting Solar Filter
This solar filter fits on the aperture of the 127EQ PowerSeeker just like the cover does, and just as loosely. The included Velcro pieces, when properly installed, keep the filter in place without any issues. When installing the Velcro pieces, first make sure to align the opening of the filter so that it is between the metal cross-hairs at the aperture. Once properly aligned without the metal bars obstructing the view, then install the Velcro pieces on both the filter and the telescope. Then the Velcro straps are use to keep it in place. Further, adding another couple of pieces of Velcro to the original cover allows the straps to be used to hold the cover in place when the telescope is not in use. In fact, you could simply use the solar filter as the cover by simply placing the cap over its opening.

Sun
It worked fine, get the full cover one. More time to view that way.

Absolute necessity
Only 'problem' is that due to the nature of the beast, it is not easy to find the sun. Actually almost impossible with the filter in place. I use the minimum shadow method, combined with the indirect screen with no eyepiece to actually locate the disc. Then mount filter and fine tune location and focus.

It’s not quite what I expected.
The filter did its job. I looked directly at the Sun and got some stunning views. However, I didn’t expect just a small circle portion of the filter to be the actual “filter” making finding objects difficult. It was a challenge to find and stay focused on the Sun using than small hole. Other than that, it worked as expect.

Safely view the sun
Works good. You can see sun spots just wish you could see solar flares.
