硬くてガリガリした感触なのですぐに使わなくなった。 やっぱり今は無線が一番いい。

Arrived in decent enough packaging, connected straight away with USB 3.0 mode, no issues with heat or smell etc

I bought this because I was tired of the stock cable and it was time to make a switch. personally I'm not a huge fan of the the material but that just me, and I've never had any power issues so this is definitely a cop

Really disappointed - certainly not the 'affordable alt.' to a custom cable it was meant to be.... The quick: stiff cable, short cable, very stumpy coil (laughably so), grey (charcoal) is actually black, also cable does not work - pc immediately popped up an over-voltage error... Ok, so it looks well made... CableMod is the best - however to reach my pc tower under my desk (tower is on 4" risers so it's literally right under my desk's top. This barley reaches thus putting pressure on usb port. Cable is also really stiff - so more pressure on port. Coil is very stumpy (I've seen spacebars longer than this) and wont stay in place (since it lacks any kind of substantialaty to do so). On plugging in the cable immediately gets an over-voltage error - so Windows then auto-shuts off the port for protection.... yeah I don't know how to fix that, perhaps if I went into my mobo bios and upped the voltage of the port in question - my Gigabyte has that feature if memory serves... but come on...... perhaps would not be an issue on a usb 3.0 vs 2.0 port... but again... come on... (sorry CableMod for the bad review but woof**)

The cable was working but that's about all the positive I can say about it. It was really stiff and was coiled in a way that pointed the USB-A connector towards the keyboard so the coil would not sit straight. The connectors themselves were very low quality - there was visible dried glue on them and the USB-C plug was so tight, I was worried I'd damage my usb socket while trying to disconnect it. I also got a black cable instead of the carbon grey one I ordered. The box said carbon grey but the cable inside was black.
