we now have SIX! very, very... bright and sturdy
we now have SIX of these! (I have now bought four of them for my business - and family got a couple for Christmas too because they are so good).very, very bright and very, very sturdythey are like mini-floodlights, the brightest torches I have used in the sub-£100 category.really useful that I can charge them in the car (I use a 12V to USB adaptor) and they actually charge far faster in the car than they do on the USB charger at home. I leave one in the car all the time, and was pleasantly surprised that the battery charge didn't seem to drop in the freezing winter. My elderly mother got one for Christmas (she has very poor night vision and lives in the middle of nowhere a long way from street lighting) and she finds it very easy to use even with her very arthritic hands - the other old ladies queue up behind her when they leave the rural bridge club on a dark winter's night...Note: I have done the recharging for her, as she finds it fiddly with her poorly-functioning-fingers to open the little rubber charging flap - she can do this with some effort so the torch is still fit for purpose for her (but why bother when her son can do it for her...)I have been told that you can also use them as an emergency car window breaking tool (eg if you are trapped in a car) but I haven't tested this out - however this makes sense if you look at the rim of the torch around the bulb area.recommendation:when you power on the torch it lights up little LEDs on the handle to indicate the state of the battery charge - when it gets to half charge then CHARGE UP STRAIGHT AFTERWARDS - as the second half of the indicated battery charge seems to me to last a lot less long than the first half of the indicated battery charge. I've never had the battery run out on me, but I have had one of the torches down to an indicated quarter charge quite a few times.

Lots of Power in a Small Package
I saw adverts for this torch elsewhere and thought that it looked ideal for our needs. Once ordered, the torch set arrived quickly. It was packaged in a military style 'hard case' which contained the torch, a rechargeable battery, a 'magazine' for three AAA batteries as an alternative power source (with the batteries), a USB charging cable, a wrist strap, a belt pouch and a key ring torch. The main torch is a rugged design and seems a robust, compact and light device. The battery needs to be fully charged on arrival and there is a handy set of four LEDs showing how much power is available in the torch. One press on the operating button produces a full-power beam. The next two presses reduces the brightness. The fourth starts a strobe and the fifth a flash sequence in morse code for S.O.S. The final press switches the torch off which is a bit tedious but it is my only minor criticism. The beam width is controlled by a simple sheath which slides forward for the concentrated beam and back for the wide one. Both are very bright. The concentrated beam reaches out about 100 metres while the wide beam lights up an entire driveway, the side of a house, or an interior room. Easy to use and carry and so far robust and reliable, I recommend this torch for all sorts of uses and I make sure I have access to it when I am out and about.

A super bright handheld torch that's great value
The media could not be loaded. I've owned a few different Lumitact torches, so already know how good they are, both in terms of light output and quality. This Super Bright torch is no exception. It has a nice solid aluminium body, with a quality LED chip for brightness. The torch comes in a storage / travel case with various accessories, such as battery adapter, 3 X AAA batteries in addition to the main rechargeable one, a carry pouch and mini keyring torch. As my video shows, the light output certainly is super bright. You can also click the power button again to run it at less bright modes, along with having flashing options too for emergencies. The torch charges via the included usb-c cable, but will also work with any usb-c cable, such a sa phone charger, etc. This is definitely a serious torch to own for anyone that needs a powerful light to be able to work, play or do other activities. It's perfect for taking out on evening walks, for fishing, alongside evening work activities or pretty much any activity that requires good visibility at night. The belt pouch means that you don't even need a pocket to put it in.This is definitely recommended and excellent value for money for such a good torch.
