Recommend buying them

My prior shoes SpeedPlay Zero pedals were squeaking. Replaced them both & problem was resolved.

Very poor instructions that accompanied the product.

The pedals were just as good as the old pedals. (Since the mechanics are the same I expected this.)The yellow covers were very hard to get seated, so I did lose one and had to buy an additional cleat kit to get a replacement cover. I believe you can order replacement covers, but I needed the cover right away.I recommend the pedals, just be careful to seat the covers fully. If the yellow covers are seated properly they don't fall off.

These are a great help in my son's cycling racing.Used now for 3 training rides, he declares that they have decreased his knee pain by a large margin. That is a great effect, and we will rejoice if that continues. The reason they can have this effect is due to the increased degrees of 'Float' that this type of pedal system allows, moreso than other typical pedal / cleat systems.Install was a bit tricky, but he followed the instructions meticulously & got a nice job accomplished.One thing: these will fit a 3 bolt cycling road shoe (as it's most common), but there exist some 4 bolt shoes that are made for a Speedplay cleat layout, and on these shoes the cleat can sit more flush, than on his "northwave' brand cycling shoe with the 3 bolt layout.I'm quite sure he'll go looking for his next cycling shoes to be 'Speedplay Layout' from the git-go.

Prompt delivery and good buy.

Brilliant when you get them to work. You MUST get the base absolutely flat before attaching the cleat plate. Use the shims, attach to your shoe and then place on a table the cleat base (adapter) down . If you see daylight between the table and the adapter, try another shim. This will make clipping in much easier. Also, don't overtighten the 4 cleat plate screws and do them each a bit at a time. I've cut small shims of plastic from drinks bottles to get my base absolutely flat.

Excellent quality and easy to fit. Although takes a few uses to loosen up the springs to clip in and out.

Ich liebe diese Pedale. Bin ein Rennradneuling und habe mich aufgrund einer Empfehlung für diese Pedale entschieden. Die Cleats sind superleicht am Schuh zu montieren und direkt einsatzbereit. Zu Beginn ist es etwas schwierig sich daran zu gewöhnen, wie man hineinkommt, aber sobald man es einmal draußen hat, ist es kein Problem mehr. Ich habe es nach 5-6 Anläufen dann direkt geschafft. Auch das Raussteigen ist kinderleicht.Ich persönlich finde auch die Fußbewegungsfreiheit der Pedale toll.Da dies meine ersten Rennradpedale sind, kann ich leider keinen Vergleich zu normalen Clip-in Pedalen liefern. Aber ich bin noch nie damit gestürtzt, im Vergleich zu einem Freund, der dieses Jahr auch mit dem Rennradfahren begonnen hat und die gängigen Rennradpedale verwendet :P

Los Speedplay Zero. Pedales y Calas, me llegaron muy rápido a casa. Tengo que decir que me gustaron mucho. Es un sistema muy cómodo a la hora de pedalear, ya que tiene muy buen ajuste. También las calas son muy cómodas para caminar. No se resbala y se acoplan bien al pedal. Aunque al principio suele estar muy duras para el enganche al pedal. Pero cuando pasan unos días de uso te llegas a acostumbrar al sistema de enganche. Lo recomiendo para bicicleta de carretera.

Habe mir die Pedale aufgrund der einfachen Handhabung (beidseitiger Einstieg) und der großen Einstellmöglichkeiten gekauft. Was diese beiden Punkte angeht, sind sie perfekt und dazu sehr gut verarbeitet. Zur Dauerhaltbarkeit kann ich leider noch nichts sagen. Durch die walkable Platten ist auch die starke Abnutzung der Platten vom Tisch. Gerade für Anfänger sind die Pedale daher aus meiner Sicht sehr gut. Ein entsprechender Schraubenzieher reicht aus und man kann den ersten Trainings alles sehr leicht einstellen / nachstellen.
