Shipping Container Homes: Steps and Tips on How You Can Build a Shipping Container Home Quickly and Save Money

I thought it would take me on a guided tour with images on how to utilize, modify and plan construction. It is rather just a story book. Given a chance, I wish to return the book.

Not at all useful. Only general ideas.. not even one strctural plan is there..

I was looking for the book which explains how to built a container house from scratch and this book answered many of my questions indeed. After reading this book I understood that there is no step-by-step guides and everyone has to make their own choices depending on the conditions. However, this book is the most informative compared to others and contains a lot of really useful tips, information and aspects you should consider when building a house out of containers. Totally worth the money!

Pocket size book.I was looking for a book with photos. There was none in this book,disappointed.

I liked this book but some of the info you can find for free on the internet. It did have a lot of useful tips and I like having an actual book to take notes in. It was very well written and was easy to follow. It is a great book for those of us who are just starting to learn about container homes. A lot of very useful, basic info. Gives a lot of good advice and a great foundation of knowledge to get you on the right track to building your home. I found it helpful and will make a great reference guide as we look into more detailed info on how to proceed.

Very disappointed, felt like reading report from high school student, no real detail. I have downloaded pdf's on container homes on the internet with more information.

If you’re looking for a book with slick photos of cool container homes, this is not that book. There are no photos at all. But there is a lot of good, basic info for those starting out with the idea of creating a shipping container home. It seems like a quick, easy read.
