Great Item for Barbell Storage
Product was as described. Easy to install and hold short barbells well.

Simple, rugged, and effective.
I've bought I think 10 of these over time. I've used them for 7' olympic type bars, 3-5' short bars, and I also use them for cable accessory bars. They are very easy to install and have plastic guards so if you're picky you won't scratch up your bars. I used my own bolts, but they come with large lag bolts and large wall anchors.

Looks great!
This was very easy to install and looks great on the wall. So far it is holding up very good. Now I don’t have to have my barbells on the floor anymore, so my gym looks organized now.

Does a good job
These work as advertised. As thin as the metal and plastic are, they still seam secure and sturdy holding barbells. I do appreciate the added plastic to help protect the knurling on the bars. The only negative I had really, was the hardware. I pre-drilled holes in the studs, but the soft head of the screws still just seemed to fragment and ended up getting rounded out. Hopefully a socket won't completely destroy them when the time comes to remove these. Still, a good product though. I do recommend this if you don't want to spend the high prices of the big home gym companies.

Strong affordable barbell storage
While getting my garage gym put together I noticed that I had accumulated multiple barbells, and didn't have a good way to store them. They were either on the ground or leaning against a wall/corner. After spending some time looking at different offerings here on Amazon, I finally found these, which at the time were under $10 each. Whether or not that represents a good value to you probably depends on how many bars you have to deal with. I have four total but the hex/trap bar is not a good candidate because of the collar design. So only needing three was ok. If I had five or more bars, I would probably consider one of the floor stands, depending on space constraints. The hangers arrived in a simple cardboard box (but double boxed not mailed individually). Inside the box was the hanger itself in a plastic sleeve, a piece of precut rubber mat/padding with 3M adhesive backing, and some questionable looking drywall type anchors w/ screws. I wiped the hangers down with alcohol before applying the pads. The metal of the hangers is very substantial @ 5.34mm which is somewhere between 3.5-4 gauge thickness. Once properly secured I don't think you ever need to worry about bending them. I ended up screwing them into a board that was itself anchored to multiple studs. The only thing I would point to as a potential drawback is the finish quality. I'm talking mainly about the paint. I had a couple of small chips right out of the box (hard to see in photos but circled in yellow). Given their purpose I wasn't too concerned, but if you like everything to be perfect you may need to hit these with a rattle can or otherwise refinish them. Overall I'm happy with their performance and function. If they were much more expensive I would be inclined to be more picky, but these are fine. Just remember to replace the screws and make sure they are well anchored, not in drywall. -Cheers

Highly recommended!
I recently installed this barbell rack in my garage gym, and I’m really impressed with the quality and design. The steel is heavy-duty and feels very secure once mounted. It easily holds all my Olympic bars (straight, curl, trap bar), and the horizontal design keeps them neatly organized and off the floor.

Bien.

It can BARELY hold 30mm bars and they don't provide cage compatible screws, hence the point deduction.

Ideal dimensions for storing 1 and 2” diameter bars. Very sturdy with the wall plugs/screws provided. Great value too.
