Bought for the stand but also tried the dial and it seems accurate, gave the same results as the other two dials we used.

I tried using this set for degreeing a camshaft. absolute nightmare. My zero mark kept moving, the dial you spin to move the top ring very stiff and impossible to move without all your readings getting mucked up, bad threads on the tip, removing the one it comes with is very difficult, and the others don't thread in all the way. The stand is also quite annoying to get in place. In the end I bought a separate dial indicator and a stand with a single knob design for adjusting the arms < That worked flawlessly.

I’m surprised that for this price, you get a full kit with decent quality. I mean you really can’t complain at all for the price. I used it to adjust the wheel bearing play on a Mercedes which is supposed to be between 0.01 and 0.02 mm. It worked just fine but you do need to press the indicator slightly to apply some tension on the internal spring for more accurate readings.

Utilisé pour regler les jeux aux roulements sur divers véhicules, précision au top, rien à redire, assez bluffé pour un prix aussi modique, une fois bien ajusté ce comparateur fait bien le job et suffit amplement pour la méca "domestique", il suffit juste de comprendre et passer le temps qu'il faut à la préparation.
