Sounds better than you'd expect
Sounds pretty good for the size, was bought for music in the garage. I added the dipole antenna that was recommended. I'm not sure if it's the antenna or the radio being finicky, but reception isn't that great. I plan to adjust the antenna more to look for an improvement. I plan to use it with cd's and a usb stick and it's sounds great with those.

Bought two within two years doesn’t last!
Bought one of these three years ago, put it away for the winter and when we reopened the business it no longer worked. I bit the bullet and bought a second one and I have trouble getting it to play all five CDs. I would certainly find something different next time

Present for my husband’s birthday
Great stereo system for the price! Some of the features that we have noticed that we have been pleasantly surprised by are the display when the Bluetooth is on: it will display either the artist or the current song title or the album title. You can also change the four other discs while you are listening to one. The buttons on both the front of the stereo and on the remote are seamless and highly responsive. The Bluetooth is also very intuitive and easy to use, working well with our iPhones. The radio comes in very clear, but we did order an external antenna as suggested by another reviewer and it made hooking the antenna up much easier and is far better quality than the one you get with the stereo system. It’s been about a month of steady use now and we are very happy with our new stereo! It’s packed with features and has great sound quality, and we’ve tried it with a range of genres, from metal to 60’s rock.

This is crap
All I wanted was a multi-CD player so I wouldn't have to keep switching CDs. I just want to play my music and not have to fuss with it every time I turn around. Well this is worse than playing one CD at a time because it stops every couple of songs. This thing keeps switching to "Bluetooth" at random. I did a search online and other people have the same problem.I called Sharp and she said, "that's weird." Yeah. So she puts me on hold and comes back and says that the Bluetooth is always on and always searching for a device. If it finds one it switches from CD to Bluetooth. There's nothing they can do about it. But what device? I moved it across the room from the TV and computer router, it switches when my phone is on a different floor in the house. I asked if it would find devices in the apartment next door. She couldn't rule it out. Sometimes it doesn't even play for a whole song, much less a whole CD. To get it back on CD you have to push a button on the unit itself. You can't even do it with the remote control, so if you're in another room you've got to go restart your music.I don't want to return the damn thing. I don't want another one. I just threw away $200. Glad it wasn't more. I won't buy another Sharp product. Trash. Garbage. I'm disgusted and angry.

Perfect for my use
The size is perfect. The Audio-In is great for my Technics turntable (connected through a pre-amp). Having multiple CDs is nice as is the Bluetooth for connecting to music stored on my computer. Easy connection for headphones. And having AM radio is a plus for listening to baseball broadcasts. The remote is very functional and pretty intuitive. Overall, just what I was looking for.

Great purchase
Very loud and clear sounding! Love that it displays the title of the song or at least part of it. Pretty easy to put together and set up. Great for a downstairs living space.

Bluetooth problem finally solved!
After several years I finally found a solution to the bluetooth problem: cover the top of the unit with a few layers of faraday fabric. This will keep the unit from automatically switching to bluetooth. My inlaws only listen to the radio and cds anyway. If you at some point want to use bluetooth, just fold back the fabric. The fabric will block the stereo from detecting bluetooth signals and automatically switching. It is a very poor design, but you don't have a lot of options if you want a 5cd changer. Faraday fabric can be found on Amazon.Previous review: My in-laws wanted some thing that would play five CDs. This replaced a pioneer that they had. This one however, constantly switches to Bluetooth in the middle of whatever else you’re listening to. Yes, you can press the Eco button to get it to go away, but that is a PITA. I have not found any way to turn off Bluetooth permanently on this unit for them since they never use the Bluetooth functionality. Wish I could return it.
