This shredder works effectively, though I'm only a light user of it. The pieces produced are as expected; nice and small and definitely will make it very hard to piece my papers back together again! The internal bin takes quite a lot of shredded paper, and having a completely removable top enables easy emptying. The shredder is good value, and arrived very quickly. I keep it in one place, as the lid doesn't attach (just rests on top), so if you want something to move around / pick up, bear that in mind.

Excellent Shredder, chops up lots of things, cards etc. Easy to use & solid construction. Nice neat appearance. Easy to empty. Very good value for money.

It’s a good domestic use double cut shredder that is only suitable for one sheet at a time if 80gsm weight of paper. What they don’t tell you is that after every box empty you need to lubricate the blades by buying appropriate shredder oil. Suggest a bottle since cheaper and follow east to use instructions. One 500ml bottle costing £5-00 will last you a year easily for 1000 A4 pages. Would suggest use that for even basic shredders. It’s good and effective shredder but not for volume office use. I would buy again as really shreds well and box will hold three times more than an ordinary shredder. Oiling, - simple. Use a sheet destined for shredding, zig zag a single east to apply single stripe of oil, and put through shredder. Job done. Also note that Every Cross shredder needs this. One negative, occasionally you will need to open and clear the bunching of paper from the blades. But that’s really infrequent unless putting through 50 sheets at a time one after another. only reason I give 4 stars, is this occasional clogging and speed to shred paper. Unable to put two sheets through at any one time but I would certainly would buy another.

This still makes a bit of noise as it shreds but is quieter than my last one. They say they take up to five or more sheets at a time but I have always tended to feed just one or two sheets to not overload things.I bought the oil that goes with this and I hope this will last me a good long white. The narrow window in the bin is great, too: my last one didn't have that and I had to keep taking the lid off to see how full it was getting.

Great paper shredder, cross cuts the paper which is great for securely shredding important documents. At 6 sheets it does sound like it is struggling a little bit to shred the paper, but still manages. The Clear window in the front of the bin helps you view how full the bin is, and when to empty it.

Very happy with this. Quieter than our old shredder (not same make). We don’t put many sheets through at any one time so it should last us a long time, we hope.
