Great lol motion detector. Most of them were too big for my use.
Glad I found it. It’s a small but the size of a cigarette pack motion detector that I used for dog statue by the door. Everyone gets a kick out of it.

Trick or Treaters Delighted at The Surprise of a Booming, Spooky Laugh.
I tend to do things last minute. I had all my halloween decorations out, but I didn't finish putting them up until an hour before the kids got out of school on Halloween. A few hours before I took this sound device out of the box for the first time, listened to the prerecorded sounds, and decided I wanted something different. So, I plugged the USB into my computer, downloaded some MP3 sound effects, dragged the downloads into the "No Name" Disk and I was done in less than half an hour and that's including the time I spent searching the internet for the right sounds. I put batteries in, and leaned it up against a solar light on my lawn. When the trick or treaters walked past seeing their reactions made me realize this little device was one of the best parts of my Halloween set up. Unfortunately there's no shuffle option to my knowledge, so I basically chose to stick with one sound for the daytime. We didn't get many trick or treaters at night but, I changed it to a spookier sound at night. TLDR: Loud, Reliable Motion Sensing, Easy to Upload MP3s, Sentimental Memories.

Great functionality
The media could not be loaded. I bought this item to use as entry music for when friends arrive. Childish, I know, but it was a birthday gift to myself, which I don't typically do. Now, when friends walk into my man cave, it plays anything from "Eye of the Tiger", "The Imperial March", "007" and a bunch more. Easy enough to load audio files onto and it has two levels for volume.Downside: The audio quality could improve for this price point but it wouldn't stop me from buying another one for another use someday.

No customer support! DO NOT BUY!
This worked well for a month. I only used it as a sound maker for my outdoor Santa. I put it away after Christmas last year and pulled it back out this Christmas. At first, it worked just fine. Then I plugged it into my computer to update the sounds and something wonky happened and now no sound will play at all, and there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE to contact... Just a worthless PDF to download that didn't help.I'm pretty tech savvy so I know how to format hard drives. After formatting, the files appear on the sound maker but it won't play any sounds. I'm very disappointed.Do not buy this device or from any company like this one that doesn't have customer support!!!

Works well. I use it to scare animals away from the trash.
Easy to use. The motion sensor is accurate and has a wide angle. I had to put some tape on it to narrow it a bit for my usage.Once you plug it into a computer via USB, you'll see all the preloaded sound files. They are MP3 format. You can simply add your own sound files and/or remove the ones you don't want. The little white buttons are then used to rotate through the sound files to the one you want. The mount seems sturdy. The bottom is flat enough you can just stand it up on its own. I used a bit of double sided tape to make it a bit more sturdy. The only con is you basically have 2 volumes: Loud and Very Loud. A volume knob would be nice.So far, it's working to keep the animals away, so I'm very happy.

So close to perfect it hurts
I absolutely love these devices. I bought one and put a loud message for my elderly mother who is very forgetful to always take her cellphone with her and not go out after dark at her doors. Fantastic device. The only thing on my wish list for this device is if they added a way to control the delay between alerts. When I'm unlocking my doors at home it will keep repeating the message many times in just 30 seconds or so it takes to open the doors. I wish there was either a built in delay of maybe 15 seconds or a switch to adjust the delay. I would buy that for sure. 5 solid stars if it had that feature.

Cool Device. Wish It Were Weather Resitant For Outdoor Applications
I have a problem with neighborhood dog-owners not cleaning up after their dogs. Years ago I installed a series of surveillance video cameras and placed a tasteful sign indicating that the area is under 24 hour surveillance. That works much of the time, but not all of the time. So I bought this motion-sensing voice-activated recording device and mounted it in a tree in the front of my property and wrapped it in a small platic bag to keep it dry. It took a little trial and error, but I found a few free, text-to-speech websites, and downloaded the digital message, "this area is under 24 hour surveillance". It was interesting to watch the curiosity it created. So far the recoder has done its job, so I turned it off (for now). Passers-by and their dogs do just that - they simply pass by without stopping. Mission accomplished.
