Best VBA book
I bought several to learn VBA because, let's face it, the price of several books is more easily absorbed than a $2-3k class. That said, it's Bill Jelen and he knows his stuff. This book is the best of the lot (I bought 5). It's easily understood, and is written from the lens that the reader knows the basics of Excel function. If you're on the ledge, buy this book and leave the others.

very good text
I've been reading several books and watching several videos on Excel VBA, and this is probably my favorite. If a friend who already had some programming experience asked me where to go to start learning VBA, I'd point them to this book. (If they were completely new to programming, well, I don't know what I'd recommend. Probably taking an actual course, with homework and someone who will actually grade the homework!)

Nice reference
While the book does have some good insights it is not complete by itself!

An essential addition to your professional library for creating Excel VBA macros
This text includes most of what a professional programmer needs to create Excel VBA macros for repetitive tasks that can be automated. Many don't use textbooks nowadays, but for those of us who prefer to research an algorithm solution to a programming challenge, this book will provide you with what you need to get the job done!

Broad based relevant material - easy to use and follow
Did not like the fact that there was no CD to provide access examples in the book. Always helps me understand what I am doing wrong. Overall very good book, knowledgeable author, high quality product.

Very insightful
I have a bit of VBA experience but use it rarely. I found that this book was very helpful for folks trying to refresh existing knowledge. But it would be a good source for those that are new to VBA.
