Excellent kit with some of just about everything.
I'm writing this review months after taking up electronics as a learning experience and starting with this kit. At the time I didn't even know what half the parts were supposed to do. Now, I know a bunch more and can say this is a great kit to get started with some of pretty much everything you need with good quality. It has a nearly complete E-24 set of 1% resistors, ceramic and electrolytic capacitors of most E-6 values, 10 models of popular NPN and PNP transistors, 16 flavors of diodes, 127 ICs, 200 LEDs, solderable breadboards, solder-less breadboards, 21 values of inductors, trimmers, potentiometers, ribbon cables, tactile buttons, and even a pair of tweezers. The only thing that would be nice to have would be some SN74* discrete logic ICs that are common and popular as the other ICs in the kit.

Nice kit, but missing one thing...
It's a great kit for beginners, but here is one thing about it that are worth noting before buying: The electrolytic capacitors assortment, as is shown in the product description, only ranges from 0.1µf to 220µf. and that selection, based on my opinion, has a very limited project range as you go beyond Beginner. in my experience, a 1µf to at least 470µf range has more potential. of course, for beginners, the selection in this product is a great starter. but overall, it is an exellent kit

Arrived broken, missing pieces.
A few missing pieces, came broken in the packaging. Poor quality overall, but can be used temporarily for a quick fix. The fret board included could be useful. Update: Over half the components used do not work.

Huge assortment of electronics components
This is the largest electronics assortment box I have ever handled to date. There is a very nice assortment of electronics components. Just about everything you need for prototyping electronics circuits. There is even a breadboard to assemble it all on and then there are circuit boards for final assembly. Everything comes in their own boxes which is great for keeping things neat. One box has a broken latch. It seems the latches are flimsy. But the large box holds them all together so hopefully it will not be an issue. I am setting up a new electronics lab away from home so this was a great way to stock up on parts fast.

Cheap containers
The plastic containers are flimsy and several broke by just opening them. The components are of good quality which I suppose is the important part.
