Miss Jessie's Jelly Soft Curls 8.5 fl.oz./250ml

I truly love this curl gel so much. It gives my curls all the definition that they need and although it leaves a little bit of a gel cast after it dries, all you gotta do is shake it off and it leaves your curls really soft and really moisturized my curls also look really shiny and there is no frizz at all. I wish it wasn’t as expensive as it is, but I’m willing to pay the price because it works so nicely with my thin curly hair.

I’m obsessed with this product! After taking a shower, I finger comb in a quarter size amount of Pillow Curls (from the same brand), then flip hair over and use praying hands to apply. I use a t-shirt to scrunch, then air dry. Has a great hold and usually lasts me 2-3 days after washing if I reactivate with water the next morning. Best results with use of bonnet when sleeping!

I took this on vacation. It really did the job I needed it to do. I didn't want to take my regular sized tube. You might need two depending on how much hair you have ... but I love this ... the travel size really worked well for me and I love this product.

I have a mix of waves and very loose curls with not a ton of definition to begin with, and my hair is thick, coarse, and pretty heavy. I found this gel to have a fairly weak hold for my texture—it might work better for finer or lighter hair types, but it didn’t offer much definition or frizz control for me.That said, it smells really good and has a nice consistency. I’ve been using it more as a styling aid when braiding my hair. It helps smooth things down a bit and encourages the braid pattern to hold, even though it doesn’t do much to keep frizz in check especially now that I have dove headfirst (literally) into postpartum hair loss.It also felt a little drying on my hair, so I definitely wouldn’t use it as a standalone product. But with the right layering (like hand in hand with a leave-in or curl cream), it still has a place in my routine—just not as a go-to curl styler. It can easily be applied separately to layer products, or applied as a cocktail.

This is my second Miss Jessie’s product (first was Pillow Soft Curls) and I love this one too! So far, I’m pleased with this brand. Works well, defines my curls and easy to use for my wash and go. I like this smell a little less than the Pillow Soft Curls, but it’s still good. I love that these products can be revitalized on hair the next day with a little water. I love the slip when I use my brush to define stubborn curls. I have 2 other products from this brand to try and I’m excited.

After a couple decades of trying to tame my curls with mousse, gel, cream, and combos of those, this is the first time I’ve found a gel that leaves my hair soft but does all the same things as a hard gel (no frizz, defined curls).

Overall, I did not understand the height on this product. It was definitely not a bad product. I think it would work for some people and not work for other people but for me personally I did like it and I probably would’ve keep it. Had it not have been for the smell.

My fine, wavy hair loves this gel! It provides enough definition, without weighing my hair down. My hair also looks fuller when I use it. There is bo crunch, since this is a light gel. If you need more of a hold in your hair, this might not work as well for your hair type. I also love the scent, but if you are sensitive, you might not enjoy it.
