Made cutting tiles a breeze. Used these over a conventional tile saw to try and reduce edge chipping on large format tiles and worked well. Steady hand and nice and slow to get the initial couple of passes and after you get the hang of it you will find it easier than the table saw.

Bought these as having to cut Porcelain tiles that are too thick for tile cutter , Have tile discs from well known tool store ok but chipping on the cut edge and slow cut , saw these thought well lets give them a go , first couple of cuts got some chipping , but after a 2-3 cuts the newness wore off and now the disc cuts brilliant and fast through some of the thickest and hardest Porcelain tiles I have ever laid . The cut is as good as most wet cutters , Must have done 40-50 cuts so far and the disc shows no sign of wear , You get 2 blades for a great price , I would highly recommend these discs , I ordered at 1am ,and they were delivered the same day . Thats service . 5 star .

Cut through porcelain slabs very neat, make sure you put a tension cut other side.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Very pleased with this cutting disc. I had 60cm - 9mm thick porcelain tiles to cut and did 15 of them without any trouble - not even having to use the second disc. My advice: Take your time, cut outside, go for lots of passes over the cut back and forth and it works well. I also cut square holes for sink waste and pipes that will be hidden behind the sink unit - so yeah, it was a good purchase.

Great blades. We use them to cut porcelain tiles which are better than much more expensive blades we've used in the past. They cut cleanly and with ease.

Cut granite hearth with no chipping

Tradesman here. I’ve used all sorts of cutting discs, these cut well but only last for a day before wearing down. Been cutting 10mm thick porcelain tiles and after about 8/9 cuts the blade was wearing down and becoming misshaped. Compare that to an Ox pro disc ( similar price ) which has cut probably 3 times the amount of tiles and is still in very good condition. Overall, ok for a few cuts but you’d need lots of these for a decent sized job.

My trial cuts on 1" porcelain went very well. See below. I'm very happy with this wheel. My DeWalt DCS690 normally uses a 9" wheel. It has a 7/8" arbor. A 9" wheel is good for cutting bricks. Cutting 1" thick porcelain tiles is better done with a smaller diameter wheel - this 7" wheel seems to be ideal. See below. Watch out: there was no sign of the advertized 7/8" and 5/8" arbor reducers UNTIL I opened up the package. Printing on the packaging only mentions the 1" arbor. Nothing about the promised adapters. I almost sent it back, but opened it anyway, and found the needed adapter was hidden inside. The packaging needs to be updated or there will be a lot of needless returns.
