My maltipoo enjoys this very much
I purchased this for my 6 pound maltipoo, who is very gentle with her toys. She very much enjoys chasing the little ball around for indoor playtime when the weather is not nice enough to go outside. So far, I have already gone through one set of batteries, so either it does suck up batteries, or I have terrible batteries. It is a little flimsy - I would not say it is the best made toy. But overall it is very cute, and I think it would delight a child (or a dog!) who is gentle with their things.

Sadly, this item was not working within an hour. I gave this as a gift and didn’t want to take it back from the child to exchange it. I see the price has gone down a few dollars since I purchased it. But this isn’t worth the money and it was quite embarrassing that the child was so excited about it but could not enjoy it :(

Happy Hampster
Happy Hamster works great. Very difficult to lock the two halves together.

Cheap
I have it to my 3.5 yr old bc she is obsessed with hamsters. She loves it. However, it is now immobile after 24 hours. The plastic ball is now cracked. And the hamster got stuck in her hair and stopped working. The hair is wrapped around the wheels. It’s not the sellers fault bc she’s very rough with her toys. But it is cheap. You get what you pay for.

So cute & kind of realistic
Got this for my three year old for Easter because he’s been watching hamster maize videos on YouTube. He loves it! It kind of waddles which makes it look more realistic especially when it’s in the ball. And it’s quiet so it looks and sounds like a real hamster running around in a ball lol. So worth it especially for the low price. And now I don’t have to buy a real hamster!

24 hours of fun ...
Bought for our kiddo and it lasted all of a day before it started making a horrible sound. it was still played with in the plastic ball it came in, but the hamster was kaaa-put

Works great - battery install is weird.
They item is very good. The instructions have a bit to be desired. Not super clear in battery install. The shell of the hamster comes off the chasey to chg batteries. Not the bottom of hamster...although there is a screw and opening at the bottom🤨
