It's a battery. It does what it's supposed to.
I bought this battery so that I can have a spare in case my primary gives out. Not much to tell other than it arrived exactly as described and works perfect. It has a somewhat matte finish. My primary battery is much smoother. It makes no difference to me. My only gripe is the cost. That aside, I would recommend it to any one.

Defective battery but acceptable refund experience
Ordered and received this battery. However when I attempted to charge the battery it would not take a charge. Contacted seller was able to return battery and requested that they also pay return shipping which they did. Product was defective but seller handled return and refund in a cooperative and helpful manner with good communication each time I Emailed them. I’m disappointed the battery did not work but satisfied with how the seller treated me after the sale and refund.

Replacement for stock battery Shimano wont replace.
I purchased a new bike in April with the Di2 system because the non Di2 bike was out of stock. The only difference in the bikes was this system and while it hasn't been great it hasn't been bad either. I was only getting 500 miles or so out of the stock battery so I picked up this as a spare. I should say that the new battery works as I would expect, getting between 600 and 800 miles. The stock battery is getting between 200 and 400 miles. I tried to warranty replace the battery from the store I purchased the battery from and after changing and testing all the electrical systems on the bike Shimano basically stopped talking to them. Leaving me no where. This battery was a good one. I'm guessing my stock battery was connected to the bike in a warehouse somewhere for a while which lead to its low capacity, or it's just bad. If you buy this battery be sure to charge it up and run it down as quick as possible so you can make sure it's giving you the right mileage. If not I hope your interaction with Shimano was better than mine.
