O-Cedar Scrunge 12-Pack

This was my favorite sponge, until this batch arrived. They made some slight changes to the product... and now I like them better! They clean well, and they last.

I had heard good things about this sponge, but I was honestly a bit skeptical. I mean, it's a dish sponge—how good can it be? Well, so far, after using it several times daily, my first Scrunge has only just started to fall apart, so about five weeks of use out of one. I'm comparing this to my previous go-to, 3M Scotch-Brite pads, which typically start degrading after about a week and a half of use for me, and I toss them out at about the two and a half week point. These are, of course, more expensive than Scotch-Brites, but the Scrunge has other nice features to it. For example, the surface profile's hills and valleys allow the Scrunge to pick up dirt from recesses and uneven surfaces much more quickly than flat-surfaced abrasive pads. The abrasive side is also very quick in general at taking off dirt, but doesn't scratch surfaces nearly as easily as other similar sponges. Finally, your mileage may vary on this point, but the Scrunge is a perfect size and shape for my hand - it's not too big, yet it soaks up a lot of soapy water due to its generous thickness. Suffice to say, I am a convert—I've stocked up on Scrunges and don't plan on looking back anytime soon!

We have pretty much written off anything 3M made. Why? Because the prices go up on a household product that gets multiple daily uses, started falling apart literally after a few uses. Used to buy them at Costco and sure they are cheap and bulk, but again, what's the point of getting them wholesale and going through a larger quantity in literally 2 weeks. These were the answer. They work as advertised, last longer and heftier, and the glued on abrasive side doesnt fall off. They are a little harder to find retail wise, but some big box stores hardware stores sometimes will have multipacks. The "Dawn" branded ones are also good, similar in quality to this brand as well.

This sponge is "life changing." Well, as life changing as a sponge can be. When you clean something goopy with the rough part of the "standard green sponge" of this type, it is mostly impossible to get the goop off. Not with this sponge. Just rinse and gently rub it off and the sponge comes completely clean. It's actually amazing. I just bought my son a set for Christmas and I suggest it for everyone.

Who knew a sponge could make this big a difference... these things have changed my life... I now actually face a sink full of dishes with confidence.. no more mr nice guy... seriously, they're worth the bucks...thick too, they hold a ton of soap...

We are quite used to cheap dish washing sponges for ages and wasnt particular about it until we tried this one. What a surprise. The best is the soft sponge material, it has a good texture and feel but also holds water and soap really well. The scrubby side is tougher than my 3M sponges and cleans tough stains much more efficiently. The size is slightly smaller than what we're used to, but now we think its perfectly sized. Love it, we will be recommending to our friends.
