Used this to steam potatoes. Definitely faster to cook than just boiling them.

This was a lot more sturdy than most of these type steamers. It should last a long time.

Simple Assembly

This is a nice, thoughtfully designed steamer basket. Now I can use my 2-quart saucepan to steam vegetables instead of boiling them.

Bought this steamer for my boyfriends house and was so envious, I ordered another one for myself! The silicone feet are so very thoughtful.

I would love to review this steamer with a better rating but the thing annoys me EVERY time I use it. Once in place it’s great and does what it’s designed for. The one problem I have is one of the three feet doesn’t stay open! Two seem to do as they are intended and have some resistance to hold them open or shut. The third swings freely which makes it very challenging to get into position in a pot. Mine could be a manufacturing fluke and I realize it seems a trivial complaint but it really does annoy me and my wife with every use to the point we’ve almost tossed it just to avoid the frustration. I love the design and the silicone foot covers I like they are wide unlike other steamers I have the have straight poles as legs. But the floppy foot just ruins the device.
