Love it! Great smell, great flavor!

First time purchase. I counted 82 sticks and almost 1.5 ounces of pieces (which I will grind and use for coffee or baking) Good condition, great aroma and taste (with the 2 I used so far) I used it when making a ginger-lemon tea and this Ceylon cinnamon tastes so much better than conventional cinnamon sticks. It's a delicate product so there will be broken pieces - I don't think it's intentional and I will purchase again.

I looked in all my local stores to find ceylon cinnamon and couldn't find it. So I came to Amazon and found frontier co-op which I have used before and I was grateful that they had the cinnamon. This came recommended from my doctor to use in the place of blood pressure issues and overall health and I'm glad I did. This does not provide the bite that Cassia cinnamon has and is a lot more smooth in my tea. I truly recommend anything made by frontier co-op and I definitely recommend this.

The sticks came packaged air-tight. They taste wonderful. I have used them with tea and in baking. I will definitely buy more and leave the Cassia cinnamon for decoration and potpourri.

My mum and I are both cookbook editors and professional recipe developers/testers, and after years of purchasing these organic Ceylon cinnamon sticks, we've only had one not-great bag (just shreds, almost no intact sticks). Every other bag has been full of whole, flavorful and fragrant sticks. And speaking of the sticks, Ceylon cinnamon sticks are softer, more porous and less dense (often looking like peeling bark) than the more common, assertively flavored Saigon/Vietnamese cinnamon sticks. So, if you're expecting the sharp hit you get from Saigon/Vietnamese cinnamon, you might find Ceylon ("true") cinnamon a bit subtle. For baking, Saigon/Vietnamese cinnamon, with its more intense flavor, is definitely the superior choice, and what most of us expect from cinnamon-flavored baked goods. But for more frequent/daily use, such as in tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or sprinkled on oatmeal, Ceylon cinnamon is safer, as its coumarin content is lower. And for those who make a tea from cinnamon -- or, like we do in our household, brew it with our coffee -- its sweeter, more mild flavor and aroma is preferable. I wonder if those reviewers who complained about the lack of fragrance/flavor were expecting Saigon/Vietnamese cinnamon. I can't vouch for every bag, but if you're already familiar with Ceylon cinnamon and know that's what you want, I can say that we've been consistently happy with Frontier Co-Op's organic Ceylon sticks for many years. Oh, and if you use cinnamon daily to regulate blood sugar, you definitely want to stay away from Saigon/Vietnamese cinnamon, and use Ceylon "true" cinnamon.

Wow! Truly amazing Ceylon cinnamon sticks. I rarely write Amazon reviews but had to for these aromatic gems. After finding out I had been using poor quality cinnamon my entire life I immediately switched to Ceylon cinnamon which is so much sweeter and better tasting. And organic to boot! Frontier is a great distributor, I have ordered from them before and been quite satisfied. Excellent price is way less than the tiny store bottles cost (I refill mine). Photo shows all that came in the bag, placed into my quart and smaller glass jars, one has the small amount of loose slivers and powder. Will definitely order this again! Thanks so much for a great product!

It's been a while since I ordered the last bag of Ceylon cinnamon from Frontier Coop. This one is just a wonderful as the last one. There is such a huge difference in Ceylon true cinnamon and the other pseudo "cinnamons" out there. Ceylon cinnamon is not as strong in flavor, but it is richer in flavor... more complex. The fragrance is very distinct but not harsh like what you smell at the airports. It smells soft and rather exotic. The biggest reason that I prefer true cinnamon is for health benefits. Look it up. It's remarkably healthy. It is the only cinnamon that I will use it in my personally blended herbal spice tea. I really can't speak to the issue of "value for money" because although I don't want to, I would spend more if it were necessary to do so. BUT... Please don't raise the price!!!
