The Click That Does The Trick: Trick Training Your Bird The Clicker Way Paperback – January 1, 2005

For anyone new to clicker training and has a friendly bird and just wants to get started this is a great book. While I recommend all the other training books on the subject as well, this one is very clear with some basics to get you up and running with your parrot. I say start with this one and build your library with the others.

New to having a conure, I thought this book gave very useful information on training you bird. He was very responsive to the clicker, although I have to keep getting onto the grandchildren for using th clicker because they like it. Book had lots of great tips

A good book to help parrot owners learn about parrot behavior and how to correct unwanted behavior. Easy to read and understand

I was hoping for step by step training manual, starting with target training and then moving onto harder tricks. This book is just a bunch of random tricks in an easy and hard section with no real rhyme or reason to it. You can get everything in this book for free on the internet and have videos instead of the not so great pictures in the book. The instructions to build props are poor.I read the entire book in about an hour. It's a very fast read because of the lack of in depth information in it. A waste of money in my opinion.

The book came quickly and in good condition. I haven't had time to start training but I know clicker training works. Now if my blue quaker will believe it too.

The Book is great , but my Quaker Parrot has a mind of her own.

This booked helped my teach my parrot extremely fast, it's filled with lots of helpful knowledge.

This book makes it look so easy to train my bird. I know from training my dog that it all works.
