Functional and great quality expected from YETI
Amazing quality. As yeti always is. My husband loved his bag! The color matched description. As some of the other reviews say, the shape is a little odd, but once stuffed full, it fills out and is okay. My husband said he would use this as an overnight or carry on for flights. We got the smaller size so it can be used as a carry on for flights and is lighter to maneuver around. The price point is expensive, but worth it for the quality.

Yeti Duffle Bag
I purchased this for my husband to take offshore on the Oil Rig. It flies out on a helicopter every 2 weeks and back in. It is very durable for the travel times it goes on. It holds a lot and has numerous compartments. It is waterproof and has nice handles for comfort. The price is worth every penny.

Sturdy but a Little Small
The bag seems very sturdy and I like the hard bottom to protect stuff inside. Got this as a carry on and I wish I had gotten a slightly bigger bag. This gets the job done for a weekend though.

Great materials but odd proportions
I ordered this duffel for a gym bag. The quality of materials was exceptional; it looks great a d has some nice pockets. However, it’s flatter than it looks in the pictures. It looks like something you would use to carry a casserole dish. Because of its weird proportions, it sits strangely on your hip and is not comfortable to carry with the strap. If they took two inches off the width and added two inches to the height, this would be the best duffel I’ve ever used. Instead, I got frustrated with it before leaving the house and I decided to return it and find something different.

Level up your travel agility
I bought the Yeti 40l duffel bag to support my 8-day trip to Sydney (from the US). My goals were simple: 1. Hand carry the whole way 2. Contain 4-5 days of clothes, allowing for longer stays with periodic washing 3. Support both hand and shoulder carry I didn’t want to drag a rectangular, wheel-bag around even though they are convenient over short distances. I wanted to be more agile and flexible and cover any distance needed, which suits the duffel style. The Yeti performed great. Different shape to fit into, but it wasn’t difficult to adapt. I also carried a back pack and adjusted the Yeti’s shoulder strap length to ensure the bags had minimal contact. Obviously carrying vs dragging a bag has its own benefits and challenges, and accepting all of these, the Yeti performed like a star. Super strong material, plenty of grab handles, and easy to carry. Great to live out of (which we all do when traveling) with the big lid opening. If you’re into the duffel bag style and want a strong, good-looking product that performs well, I recommend the Yeti.

I’ve looked around too much for yet another duffle. I already own this bag for another purpose, so buying a second is a high testament to its build, as I don’t like cheap quality bags. I’m housing a bunch of camera and video gear in this iteration of a duffle. I looked hard at leather and came close to pulling the trigger on a couple but had second thoughts’ mostly because of the higher cost. I’m a very huge fan of waxed canvas, but unfortunately could not nail down one to do it for me. I wanted a thick’ lightly padded well made structure with a solid flat bottom. It has to carry serious weight for a style of bag this size, needs to be carried by hand or over the shoulder and has a decent protection against light rain. Everything came back to the Yeti Crossroads Duffle. Now Yeti stuff ain’t cheap, but this is a company where the product commensurates with the cost. It’s top-shelf stuff. Aside from a few leather bags that tempted me (and boy did they), it was hard justifying two to three times more dough to serve my needs. Oh yes, that leather smell, look and feel is to die for. But the Crossroads in its awesome blue colour is a fabulous bag that has hooked me twice after a fair look around. Everything on this bag is much better quality than average. Zippers (a bit stiff at first - not like Briggs & Riley) but work in, like a fine instrument. The strong cordura type fabric is a premium choice’, being thick and robust, yet having a soft feel at the same time. Stitching, seams and all fittings are A1. The interior has partitions that can be used or not and it also has inside zipper pockets. It swallows a ton of stuff. And the hard bottom helps protect the contents. This is a great bag. They rarely or never go on sale unfortunately. But worth every dollar compared to the vast competition out there. Recommended.

The Yeti bag was to expensive I thought, so I ordered a real nice looking one that was a little less expensive. The bag looks nice, but the zipper bent and broke the second time I used it! I looked and read reviews and finally got the Yeti, it is amazing the thought and attention to detail is well worth the price! The dividers are something I thought I would remove, till the first time I used it with them, they are great!! The zipper is tough! The bag is amazing, the cost is worth it! Don’t waste your money on one that will not last!

Bought the 60L for my long distance boyfriend! He travels back and forth to visit me for the weekend usually. He really likes it and it seems to fit quite a bit. Well made. Would recommend!
