Works great
There were no instructions as others have mentioned but a diagram was on the unit, it requires wire for -12v, compressor, low and high fan. Bolts were already in place to mount to. I used a Honeywell RTH2300B thermostat which only has one fan setting so it had to be either low or high fan which was fine with me as I only used low fan setting. It was a little confusing at first, I thought I could use existing furnace thermostat wiring, it had +12v but the control board required -12v. I am not sure why that is. Luckily I had existing wire ran to a gas monitor so I had a -12v source in the same wall panel that I could splice into without having to run new wire. It puts my +12v and thermostat -12v on different fuses but that's ok I have it marked on panel. The worst part of this was having to run the thermostat wiring. Why Forest River did not install this to begin with or at least run thermostat wiring as option to install at a later date is beyond me. It makes a Big difference having this installed, it was a pain trying to adjust knobs and I did not like fan running all the time when it was on.

Replacement RV A/C Control box
So far, so good. I replaced the original control box from my Dometic A/C with this box so that I could use a standard house thermostat. It took a while for me to get the wires correctly installed into the thermostat (the YouTube video I found wasn't very clear) but everything is working great. I installed a 2 position switch into the wall above the thermostat so that I could have hi and lo fan speeds. And now I can set the system to always keep the RV below and above certain temps since the thermostat controls the heater as well. This control box is designed for the Coleman Mach A/C but with some minor modifications (swap the wiring harness with the old box's harness) can be used in Dometic units as well. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade their RV's system.

Worked out Great!
Bought this as a replacement for one of my customers to get his AC working again. This will work in a ducted or non-ducted system. My only complaint was that the hardware package was missing. Thankfully was able to use hardware off my supplies in my truck.

Works great easy to install
Ordered this for our new ac unit. Didn't look exactly like to old one but it works as expected. The electrical connections were plug and play. The price was fair and it came quickly.

Perfect replacement
Replaced the one in my 2022 travel trailer. The original was connected wrong at the trailer's assembly plant and it very slowly burned the wires then a/c stopped working- fortunatley no fire. The replacement works great!

remove this ( for Non-Ducted ) from description.ducted ac and is exactly the same box
it works with any ac ducted or not .I think that if the control box look like that and the relays are the same number it should work , my box model no was 8430-6334 and its the exactly same .. and i took a picture of the compressor relay of this item i recent bought and you should at add to the listing .nobody that was selling the control box had the compressor relay information which is the most important part

Probably good unit, wrong fit, never used or returned
Double check model, purchased, would not work with my unit, not worth the hassle of returning. Sold RV

Do your research and go to AirXcel's site to get as much information as possible.
As I mentioned in the headline, do your homework first and this should be an easy install. Every RV is different, I pulled the +12V/-12V from a nearby USB port for the power supply for the thermostat. There is a lot of YouTube available to install this as well. Take your time. Check your connections.

This Airxcel controller works great. It was an exact match and fit. When the dealer told me I need a new AC unit, I thought I'd like to do a little exploration first. I found the compressor relay inside my controller was not functioning. I jumped it to test and sure enough the compressor started and the AC worked. I would not hesitate to recommend this product.

The R&R of the unit was easy and straight forward. Make sure to turn off both AC and DC voltage while doing the remove and install. Air conditioner fired right up after install of new board without flipping breakers. Guess I may have have had bad/stuck relays in old board. Running nice and cool!
