Ryobi 18V 5-1/2" Circular Saw

I know that people laugh about Ryobi tools, but here's the thing. They're a good quality tool at a reasonable price. I spend a lot of time in my wood shop, and I ordered this saw for a light weight alternative for quick crosscuts. It worked out great. There's all the power I need, good battery life, and provides a decent cut. Go ahead and spend a couple of dollars on the Milwaukee or DeWalt when this does the same job and results.

I'm very happy with this Ryobi circular saw. It's powerful, easy to handle, and cuts smoothly through various materials. I like that it's lightweight, which makes it comfortable to use, even on long projects. I highly recommend it.

price was right but it did not come with battery

Love how lightweight it is. Wished I'd purchased this saw size years ago. It's small, fast and very accurate. One of the best circular saws I've owned and I've owned many!

Works great easy to use. Not bad on batteries

Do not buy this item at this time. When I received my saw it was missing the knob to adjust cut depth. Unfortunately, I destroyed the box before returning the saw. I thought no big deal, I’ll just get one from ryobi customer service. Turns out, that part is back-ordered until some time in 2026! This part is not available at all! I am forced to conclude that Ryobi is deliberately shipping this item without his part just to make sales. I strongly urge people not to buy this saw until Ryobi corrects the situation!

Said few days for delivery, but it came next day. You have to put the blade on, that it comes with. Grey button behind blade hood, locks rotation, counter intuitive threaded, writing side out. For the girlies out there. I love this saw, I can easily cut with one hand and burnt up my last saw with a dull blade. Make sure you change blade once you notice any struggle to cut. I was just thinking battery wasn’t fully charged. Love!
