Update: It's been less than two months since I installed this, and the rubber is separating from the tape. The tape is stuck to my car still. Do not recommend, unfortunately. Was sure hoping this was going to work. Shouldn't have to buy better tape and rework it. I bought this for my 2018 XLE Rav4. Someone mentioned it was too straight for their curved Rav4 bumper. You just start in the middle and curve and press it down. It forms perfectly. The tape and amount provided is also perfect. I work in a sign shop, so I have the upper hand on this install. First, with alcohol, I cleaned the back side of the rubber that is to be face down on the bumper. Then I cleaned the bumper with alcohol. I put the tape all around the edge of the back side that is to be face down. What I had leftover, I put stripes every three or so inches from left to right, in between both ends. The tape is of high quality, so it doesn't need to cover every square inch. I then folded the rubber in half to find the center point. I pinched it hard so that I could still see the center once I laid it on the bumper. Then put the rubber down on the bumper. I held it in place, folded one side back over my hand to the other side and began peeling the red backing off the tape. The tape did, in places, tend to want to come unstuck, just be careful to release the liner and keep the tape stuck down. Once removed, I started at the center, pressing the rubber down. Once it gets stuck to the bumper, you're good to let your hand go and start curving to fit. I held one end of the rubber in one hand, while pressing and curving with both hands. Don't worry if it looks like it's slightly buckling up on the back edge, it goes down flat when you come back and press it down. My car is a dark color, so it soaked up the warm sunshine and the tape stuck well in no time. If you are installing on a cool/cold day, warm it up with a hair dryer when you are done, it'll stick in no time. Just don't get it too hot.

Too short & narrow for an SUV though it was what was recommended for my SUV.
I can’t give to much opinion on this, because it seemed too small for my SUV, but would be perfect for a car. The rubber part is made well. I didn’t see any imperfections. It does need to layout flat before application so it will lay flat right away.

adhesive issue
look good, my problem is adhensive. The tape were good not so good with rubber. It doesn't stick well at all. I prep with alcohol and put on the double side tape, it will hold but then will start peeling slowly when it get heat up by the sun. there must be alternative adhesive product that will stick and hold rubber pad.

RUN ! DONT WALK !
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING THIS ! NOT ! NOT ! NOT WORTH THE MONEY ! TAPE IS CRAP ! A KNOCK OFF OF 3M BRAND DOUBLE SIDED TAPE. NO ADHESION AT ALL. FELL RIGHT OFF THE RUBBER ! ONLY REASON I CAN FIGURE OUT WHY THEY SAID IT WOULD FIT MY HHR IS BECAUSE ITS WAY TOO SMALL ! SO BEING THIS SMALL OF A SIZE IT COULD FIT ANYTHING !

Very nice for two years
Install easy, looks nice and protects rear bumper. But two years and the adhesive gave way. Low cost and delivered what I paid for it.

Great Rear Guard!
Perfect rear guard for our 2018 Ford Edge! It’s was pretty easy to install and it adhered with no problems. Has been on for a few weeks now and still looks good. It was the perfect size and thickness. Would recommend!

Loved the product, but wished it had come in a wider span

Es de buena calidad y se ve bien ya puesto, pero el detalle que le veo es de tiene que recortar el ancho de la cubierta, para ajustarlo al espacio de donde se coloca, bueno esto me paso en la SUZUKI Vitara 2018.

This is garbage, to short for any car probably...and they want you to pay for the return of a useless product... Amazon shouldn't sell this kind of crap

June 2020 - I used this on my white 2015 Acura RDX rear bumper sill. Wish it was a little wider and a little longer for more coverage of painted surface. Looks like it came with the vehicle. Rear hatch closes well, does not bind or squeeze when closing. I’ll see how it does come winter, if ice build up or moisture affects its adhesion or performance, that will be the final test of it’s suitability, a harsh Canadian winter. So far so good.

Little bit shorter than expected Or maybe that’s the way it is but It’s still good to look in our pathfinder
