Item works as intended. Happy so far.
Ordered this item to replace the one that came standard in my laptop that is problematic with the operating system I wanted to change to. The item arrived in a no frills packaging and I got it installed in place of my old one fairly quickly. No muss, no fuss. When the machine booted up in the operating system of choice (which is a Linux distribution), it was detected and it seemd to work as advertised! For the price point, I'm very happy with my purchase so far. The only little thing that I have noticed is that the wireless meter on the desktop shows the signal strength to my router a bit diminished when my laptop is in clamshell (dock) mode. It still keeps connection however so I'm not that worried about it at this time. There might be some parameters that I could tweak to maybe get more performance out of it however it is doing what I need it to do so I'm leaving it alone. For now. Would I suggest this part for a machine that will allow firmware updates/upgrades? Yep.

Finally Have B/T Sanity Back
Whereas the OEM cards from Realtek didn't last beyond the first week, this one is going strong months later. A ridiculously easy install and completely reliable so far.

I don't understand why cards like this are not the standard!
This card is working on an Asus TUF A16 7735HS CPU 7700S GPU system. The system came with a Realtek 8852BE which, wireless performance is fine, BUT the Bluetooth issues were driving me up the wall! The Realtek 8852BE had constant BT disconnect issues, mouse jitter and audio sync problems, headset disconnect issues, no amount of driver fiddling fixed the problems.... So along comes this little beauty of a card and lo and behold... the Intel AX210 fixes all the woes... like sprinkling magical computer healing pixie dust over it! LOL I don't understand how much of a savings it is for manufacturers to use such cards that have issues when there are real working alternatives like this one that are not that much more money... this isn't a $50 or $70 extra cost specially when buying in bulk!

Unwired Gigabit: Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E is Phenomenally Fast
The Intel AX210.NGWG Wi-Fi 6E adapter is a game-changer for wireless connectivity. The quality of the chip and the reliability of this Intel series are top-tier. The performance jump is dramatic. Using this adapter on our Asus FX505GT feels like running a dedicated 1 Gigabit Ethernet connection to our network, but with the added benefit of complete flexibility of movement on a moment's notice. The AX210 is engineered to support a theoretical maximum speed of 2.4 Gbps (Gigabits per second) using the 6 GHz band (Wi-Fi 6E) with 160 MHz channels, which means we are achieving true gigabit throughput in real-world scenarios, making it incredibly efficient and fast. This adapter, with its support for the dedicated 6 GHz band and technologies like MU-MIMO and OFDMA, offers lower latency and a noticeable boost in speed, eliminating the need to be tethered to a physical cable for high-bandwidth tasks. If you have a Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 router, this adapter is a phenomenal, worthwhile upgrade.

Need antenna!!
Hard to beat the price. However, the signal once installed in the computer case is VERY weak. Must buy the antennas separately and install them. Hence, I rated the Wi-Fi signal one star. Overall, I would purchase again if the motherboard doesn't have built-in Wi-Fi/BT.

Perfect upgrade for my laptop
I got this because my Framework laptop (AMD version) comes with a Mediatek wifi card. For wifi connoisseur like myself, you might know this is not a very good card. I'm here to tell you this card performs great, I'm able to get 500mbps on my home network. It roams fine on my mesh network. And the bluetooth works fine. And it's compatible with AMD laptops. Also the 2 antenna ports are the industry standard type. Overall, it's a great upgrade if your laptop has a Mediatek.

Limited functionality due to firmware regulatory restrictions
Intel's location-aware regulatory mechanism makes this card useless as an access point and for the speeds it advertises (even in client mode on Linux). Search around forums, folks have had plenty of issues; I don't often return items but I sank way too much time into trying to get this working properly and it's very much not worth it. Definitely avoid
