This thing is a beast
It took me a minute to get the technique with the slightly curved blade. I think it’s designed that way to help avoid gouging the surface you’re working on. While it doesn’t scrape the full width of the blade in one pull, it gives the ability to focus the area by shifting the weight, side to side. It drastically helps to reduce the amount of sand time required to get to bare wood. It works on veneers to safely remove layers of finish so that the risk of power sanding through the veneer is reduced significantly. The sound of scraping with the first few pulls can be a little off putting so wear headset or earplugs if it bothers you.

Makes scraping much easier cutting your work time dramatically
Definately add this to your tool box. I have scraped many old homes with the old steel scrapers that might as well be butter knives compared to this- it's all about the blade! Limits fatigue and keeps you on the job without frustration from stingy old adhered paint. Does not gouge as much either yet takes some time to adjust your the pressure across the blace to work most effectively.Must have.

Perfect paint stripper
I love this paint stripper. The replacement blades, however, are difficult to find in 2.5” size.

High quality and great value
I purchased this scraper to prep a large kitchen cabinet from the 1920's that had about 5 coats of paint on it. Prior to finding this I was trying to use a regular hand scraper I had used for several other projects. The difference in performance was night and day. This scraper cut my prep time in half and using it was much easier on my hands and wrist. The ergonomics are great and one blade lasted for the entire project. So glad I found this scraper!
