Responsive, Bright, Easy To Navigate, And Perfect Size
This stereo head unit is absolutely amazing. I installed it in my 2002 WRX to replace a head unit I had previously installed but wasn't happy with in the long run. This head unit though is top notch. The screen is a perfect size and offers a wonderful brightness during the day without being too bright at night. I was disappointed when I discovered that this unit didn't offer wireless Android Auto connectivity but, once paired with the wireless Android Auto dongle plugged into the unit's USB port and tucked behind the dash, I found the quality of the image and responsiveness of the screen to be top notch. The menus are extremely easy to navigate and the screen is very responsive to touch. All in all, this is one of the best stereo units I have installed in any vehicle I've owned and I highly recommend it.

Great little stereo for a great little car!
Installed this stereo in my 2000 Honda insight because the design of the dash, with a small ledge above the stereo, limits the type of CarPlay head unit I can install. After looking around at all the different options, this one fits perfectly, and has been working great for over a year. The display is decent quality for the price, and also quite reasonably responsive to touch inputs. I also feel the sound quality did improve at least a little bit, compared to the Pioneer single-din that it replaced.I like the ability to pop the screen out easily, and haven’t really run into any issues with Bluetooth or wired CarPlay since installing. Installation was as easy as any other single-din unit.

Great inexpensive car stereo
Other than a few small issues, this stereo works great for the money. A few glitches once in a while, like working with Amazon music. I added a back up camera and that's so nice to have in my Ford F-350 super duty. Didn't have to cut up the dash, just got the single din adapter for my truck and install was very easy. Didn't have wireless android so I purchased a wireless adapter and it works pretty good, automatically connects although it's a bit slow every once in a while. Didn't want to have to plug my phone in Everytime I got into the truck. I love the adjustable and REMOVABLE! screen. With very little effort, Boss could make this into one extremely awesome stereo. It sounds awesome even with my factory speakers. Would recommend and I don't regret my purchase at all

Overall great stereo with all the updated technology features
I purchased this to be installed in my son's 2003 Ford Ranger. The screen size fits perfectly without obstructing other areas of the dash. It was easy to install and I like that we can remove the display to prevent breakins. I have had the radio for about 6 months now and it is still working perfectly. Ease of installation:Installation was easy with the correct wiring harness. All wires are labeled properlyTouch screen:The touch screen is a nice feature of this product. Quality:Couldn't ask more from the quality of this stereo. It has all the features I want at an affordable price. Great upgrade to an old standard radio

Won’t dim properly
The media could not be loaded. Head unit works great and does everything I want it to. I wish the eq settings had more options for bass and treble adjustments but not a dealbreaker. The back up camera was a pain to install but works perfectly. The sound is just as good if not better than the stock head unit and the ability to connect my phone is a game changer.Onto the not good. In my 06 mini cooper s the voltage for the dimmer is variable so it’s not true 12v. Other head units aren’t picky with the dimmer voltage. The screen flickers on and off in the morning. You can turn the auto dimming feature off but the screen is too bright at 4am to not have itNot too satisfied that it won’t dim for my particular case but if that’s not a deal breaker it’s a great value

I was able to make my old truck feel a bit more modern without breaking the bank on a $500 radio
So far so good! I like the 10 band EQ. Easy to adjust, I'm still fine tuning it, but the sound quality seems pretty good. The one issue I have is that even adjusted as far up as possible I have to adjust my grip on the shifter when I put my 1996 Mazda pickup ( same as a Ranger) in 5th gear. I'm sure I'll get used to it, just something that someone with a manual transmission should take into consideration if they're considering buying this radio. It sticks out a couple of inches past where the original radio would. Also, if you happen to have a truck similar to mine do not go bigger than the 7 inch radio. It'll just interfere with the shifter worse and block the center AC vents. Call quality seems good, callers can hear me and I can hear them. I have the microphone clipped onto the front edge of the headliner next to the sun visor so it's as inconspicuous as possible. The wireless Carplay works fairly well. There is a slight delay between when you press pause or play and when the music actually stops. Less than half a second, it's there but not a big deal in my opinion. Considering most other wireless CarPlay radios are twice as expensive (unless they're some Chinese brand you've never heard of) its a reasonable compromise. Overall I'm happy with it. I was able to make my old truck feel a bit more modern without breaking the bank on a $500 radio
