Great bag
Overall great bag. Used it all last year for a field biology position where I would hike 3+ miles daily outdoors. Will use it again this season. Pros: - spacious and good organization. I stuffed so much gear into here sometimes and it worked. Also lots of opportunities to hang stuff off it with carabiners - bladder pack easy to fill/use, insulates well. I poured ice into it many times and it kept my water so nice and cold. Definitely a huge upgrade from carrying a water bottle - outside pocket expands via straps and is useful to stuff your jacket, lunch bag, or random bulky stuff into - waist and chest straps make a huge difference, so much comfier with them on even with a heavy load - technically washable (as in, I threw it in the washer multiple times with no issues) -price is GREAT for value Cons: -the back is actually not very breathable and on very long, hot days my back would be coated in sweat where it was covered by the bag and I'd have to stop, face my back to the wind, and wait to dry off lol -bladder gets very heavy when full, usually I would only fill it halfway if I didn't need the full 3L. Even with the straps on I could feel the weight -the straps can get kind of busy, when I was also wearing my field gear it was a lot and the straps got in the way sometimes

Perfect for a day hike.
This was purchased for my son-in-law who loves to hike, and often will go for a shorter hike on week nights or weekends. He has other backpacks, but this one is a good, lightweight medium size with a 3 liter water bladder packed right into it for sipping water to remain hydrated while hiking. Because the water bag is a flat shape, and spread across the back in the backpack, the weight is evenly distributed, whether full, or half empty. This makes it easier on the body to carry a load. It is hilly in the lowland of the mountains, and warm, in So. California, so easy to build up a thirst. This way of carrying water means no hassle to stop and grab out a bottle, because the snaps keep the tube up in front, and easy to turn the tube to the mouth, and take a sip as needed. The backpack is loaded with pockets, and places to tuck whatever is needed on the hike. With the various segmented areas, the contents of the backpack remain well distributed as you hike. There are ties on the outside for tying up walking sticks, side pockets to put your phone and keys. It is a very functional backpack, made of rugged material and sturdy straps. The bladder is made of thick PFAS free plastic, and well sealed to avoid leaks. It is easy on/off, easy to use, and when done, easy to fold, snap closed for storage. It won't store for long though. This bag will be grabbed often, whether for a hike, or just for going out. The water bag can be removed when not needed, and an easy install for when you want the bag in for hydration while hiking.

Awesome hydration pack!
I bought a pair of these for my wife and myself. These were for a trip we planned to hike the Might Five nation parks in Utah (Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reed, Canyonland, and Arches - we also did Dead Horse Point SP). These were perfect. The temps were sunny and in the 90s every day. So, you need to stay hydrated. These each held 3 liters of water. The mouthpiece hose clips to either strap (left side or right side). That made it very convenient to drink water on the fly. The mouthpiece worked great - no leaking. The mouthpiece also has an attached cover to keep it clean when you are not drinking from it. The pack itself has mesh side pockets, outside zipper pockets on the back of the pack, small zippered pockets on the waist straps, and a decent sized area for storage in the main pack pocket, where the water bladder is kept. In the main pack pocket where the bladder goes is an insulated section. This kept the water cool for most of the day (the bladder hose is also insulated). There is also another area in the main pocket, separated from the insulated bladder pocket, which we used for our lunches. I used the waist strap pockets for my Leatherman utility knife, and we also used them to hold power bars to snack on. We each used the side mesh pockets for small binoculars. Some days we packed hoagies for lunch that fit inside the main pack. There were still more pockets and areas to hold more stuff if needed. The shoulder and waist straps are padded and very comfortable. The chest strap click has a built-in whistle (hopefully you won't need it). The pack straps on easily and is comfortable to wear all day. You forget you have it on. I really like the design of the bladder - how it closes and seals. It's tough to describe, but it is much easier to fill and seal than the Camelbak bladder that I have that I've been using for overnight backpacking trips. You don't even need to take the bladder out of the pack to refill it. Just unzip the main pocket of the pack, open the bladder top, hold it under the water spigot and fill it. Once it's full, just close/seal the bladder, zip up the pocket and you are on your way. And no leaking at all. We did 8 days of day hiking with these packs, and they were gold! The pack and bladder are very well made and very durable. No issues with zippers, like you might get with cheaply made packs. You can use this pack for everything you'd need for a full day of hiking. I would definitely recommend this pack!

This is an incredible backpack with a lot of quality of life capabilities. I love the insulated hydro area and the insulated line, it kept my water cool in the hot sun the entire 5 hour hike I went on! The pockets are decent size and fit a variety of emergency and related equipment needed on any day hike excursion. The side pockets at the front straps were perfect size for my S25 Ultra phone (no case, a large phone too) and all the snacks I needed. I was able to fit a tarp, cooking equipment (small burner and aluminum cup, and food), sit pads, first aid kit, emergency preparedness kit (compass, bug spray, sunscreen, first aid kit, maps, multitool, fire kit, fishing kit), and a book I was reading in this little pack. The water was most of the weight, but it still didn't feel that bad on my back and was comfy!
