We were lent two pairs of REI trekking poles to use on an upcoming hiking trip. The existing tips were completely worn through with the metal "spoke" of the pole poking through the rubber tips. As a gift to our friend who lent them to us we decided to order these Trail Buddy replacement tips. These tips are excellent! They are very solid and fit tightly around the tip of the stick. You can see a bit of metal inside which the tip of the pole will fit into for further durability. We haven't had a chance to use the poles on a hike yet but with the metal fitting inside the tip I don't see how they could wear through, at least not quickly. The tips have a scored bottom surface which I would think would also aid with traction on most surfaces. The price is extremely reasonable given the quality of this product. I would not hesitate to order them again and will update this review after using them.

The tips were shipped promptly. They arrived on the date promised. I gave them a four star rating because I have some question about durability. This is the second time I ordered this item. The the last tip from the first order first order has been placed on a pole. It seemed that they wore down quickly, but I did not keep a record of how long it took before I had to replace them. I'm going to keep better track of that this time. As for value, I bought a package of 6, which made their cost a little over $1 per unit. That seem fair. I could have gotten a better unit cost had I ordered a greater quantity. They fit the poles snuggly enough.

I use my trekking poles on asphalt often, and wear through the tips quickly. These are the perfect replacement tips -- good quality, good price.

We seem to lose our hiking stick feet when hiking especially when it has been wet. We tried purchasing some feet from an outfitters store which cost lots of money for 2 feet. Instead, we opted to try the TrailBuddy 6-piece Pack which was half the price of 2 feet at a store. The feet were easy to install and seem to be better affixed to the sticks than the originals. Time will tell if they are an improvement from the original feet, but all indications are that they fit well and have good material properties similar to the original feet at a much improved price. Even if one fall off, the 6-pack will give us extras if that occurs. Great product.

Indestructible rubber is used, but it also means there is less friction. So, if you are walking in slippery conditions, you need a softer rubber.

Threads on the pole end and internal threads on these tips mate perfectly and securely. Excellent concept and design. metal washer inside prevents carbide tip from punching through. Good Job

Good product. They fit well on my poles and do what I need from them. I’m a casual user of my Nordic poles and I was just looking for a good product at a good price

Checked size before purchasing, perfect fit. Reasonably priced, no issues with quality. Wear seems to be good, but I only use them 3 or 4 times a week. I have knee joint issues, so use them for anything over 100yds or so. Happy with purchase. For those that complained about how long they last, bear in mind, the rubber boots are only supposed to be used on paved areas. Anything else, and you take them off and expose the Tungsten tips. That's standard instruction for all walking poles

Hard wearing, but they do fall off occasionally, even though they appear tight and secure. Every dog walker I know uses them, and we all buy 11mm as there doesn't seem to be any 10mm available.
