Metal frame and 16 inches of working length.
This replaced a like device that was made with a plastic frame instead of metal. It lasted for more than 20 years but got stepped on. This one will outlast the old one because the frame is made of metal and no matter the hazards will not break. It is also 16 inches long compared to the old ones 12 inches so less maneuvering on longer cuts.

Very study and accurate.
This has been the best Combo square I have ever used. The blade is very sturdy and the angles are accurate. I had to replace an old one because it was not accurate enough. Not sure yet how the zinc head performs/wears compared to aluminum, but it has a good heft to it.

Good for the money not as precise as others
Meh. Over the years I’ve collected a lot of combination squares. This is a perfectly nice combination square but it’s not a Veritas or a Starrett. It is considerably cheaper than either one of those marks, but it has some play in it.

I use it for metal work and I couldn’t ask for better quality and a reasonable price

Great for the price.
Very square and works well enough. Easy to tighten and adjust but is firm enough that it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna go out of square anytime soon.

Perfectly square
I read some stuff that these might be perfectly square compared to the more expensive stuff, but I tested it and it is. Works great.
