Empire Level E280 16-Inch Heavy Duty Professional Combination Square w/Etched Stainless Steel Blade and True BlueR Vial

I wanted a combination square with a longer ruler for bigger projects. This was cheaper than at local home supply store but just as high quality and good packaging. It is at least as accurate as every other combination square I have bought. If you are looking for a combination square with a longer ruler, I highly recommend this one. This unit was cheaper than buying just a new ruler for my existing squares.

Excellent build, strong construction different for the rest. I am a Joiner and I've been using compound squares for over 30 years and I have to say this is the best construction I ever used. I recommend this.

Very square and works well enough. Easy to tighten and adjust but is firm enough that it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna go out of square anytime soon.

As you would expect from Empire, it is solidly built.

Quality straight edge.

This replaced a like device that was made with a plastic frame instead of metal. It lasted for more than 20 years but got stepped on. This one will outlast the old one because the frame is made of metal and no matter the hazards will not break. It is also 16 inches long compared to the old ones 12 inches so less maneuvering on longer cuts.
