What kind/size screws are needed for this to hang on drywall? I have this rack already. I moved recently and no longer her the original screws.

I would not anchor this on drywall. Instead, get a board (minimum 1/2 inch thick) and secure it to studs using 2.5 to 3 inch drywall type screws. Note, get a nice looking board, pine is alright to use, I would not use plywood, but you can if you want. Now, just to be clear, locate the studs using a small drill bit and drill holes about an inch apart across your wall until you hit a stud. Drill these holes in the area where you plan to mount the rack. Once you find one stud, the next one will be easier to find, i.e., studs in walls are either 12 , 18, or 24 inches center to center; so measure (probably 18 inches) from the first stud to the next one and drill a hole; if you hit a stud great, if not try drilling a hole about 1/2 an inch on either side of the first hole. If you still don't find a stud, try to locate one at 24 inches, etc.. Don't worry about all the little holes you have drilled in order to locate the studs, i.e., you can mud and paint them over, or just cover them with the board. Once you have located the 2 studs, using the aforementioned screws, screw through the board, through the drywall and into the studs using 4 screws; 2 in each stud (or more if you want). Note that, studs run perpendicular to the floor, using a level, you can locate where the 2 screws should be. Note, the rack has two holes on each side used for mounting the rack to the wall: Knowing this, you can use 2 boards, one for the top row of mounting holes and one for the bottom, or, you can use just one board depending on what you like. Also, you can paint, stain, or leave natural. Pay attention to aesthetics. Insure that the board is level after mounting; use a tape measure to determine where to put the screws, i.e., place the top ones the same distance from the top od the board and do the same for the bottom ones, etc.. Now you can center your rack on the board (making sure it is level) and mount it (using the same type screws, 3/4 inch ones should be enough) securely to the board without having to worry that it will fall off the wall when weight is added. Are the rods sturdy enough to hold cast irons? I am planning to use different hardware to secure it to the wall

I have 4 big cast irons hanging from the bottom one. However I used stronger anchors to the wall, not the ones it came with. I’m sure you can put more. I’m really happy with it.

Can this be used to hold a microwave?

Would it be safe to install over a stove?

It is pretty sturdy, an mine is mounted on a wall near the stove. If you use anchors rated for over 50 pounds, or can locate a stud in the wall that you can screw at least one side down into, then it should fit ok. I have usually got up to 10 pans hanging on it with two big spaghetti pans on the shelf. The hooks sometimes fall off when I am taking a pan down for use. This could be unexpected behavior. The hooks could drop into what you’re cooking.
