I'm impressed with this skid! It's beefy and was super easy to install. I'll no longer have to worry about banging my front diff on the rocks. I can't wait for the rear one to show up in the next couple of weeks.

First when I opened it seemed like this was a previous return product. There was old staple holes in the box ....and a second set of staples put on the box and it was taped with clear tape. The problem with the unit I was sold is that the angle of the bracket that should be flush against the differential front housing wasn't welded on at an angle that it can sit flush. There was a quarter inch gap at the bottom . The bolts wouldn't even reach the threads on the housing. Completely useless and a waste of my time. First and last RC product I'll ever use. I'm pretty sure that someone had the same issue and returned this to them and they turned around and tried to sell it again instead of taking it out of circulation. Avoid.

This skid plate is heavy duty, easy to install and half price of others. Covers well and looks good

Nice and heavy , came with no mounting hardware. I had to go buy what was listed on the directions . No sticker . I guess no quality control. I also had to bend the face mounting bracket to fit flush .

Needed help with additional hardware and Rough Country helped me out in a pinch. Half the cost of the metal cloak I put on the rear, but way better than half as nice. Is it the best you can buy? No but it’s probably the best per $ spent.

I purchased this for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler 1/23. It was an easy install and seemed to be fine until 1/25. On a trail we stopped to eat and when I looked under my Jeep oil was steadily streaming out. Further investigation showed the top mounting bracket had been rubbing the lower oil pan when the front axle articulated and eventually caused a very small crack. I’m fortunate to have stopped when I did. We managed a trailside fix by tapping the crack closed and applying RTV sealant and limped home. I hope this design flaw has been fixed but I won’t be reinstalling.
